Today is the day of the Interview with Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist and of course Athena. Everyone is getting ready to be questioned by journalists, reporters etc.
"Thank you all for coming" The Number One Hero starts
"We arranged this Interview because we want to tell you that even though multiple hero agencies were destroyed by villains, we already have plans on how to handle this matter" Endeavor continues
"And how can we be sure that this 'plan' is going to succeed?" a reporter asks
"Please, don't underastimate us and certainly don't be afraid. Like Endeavor said, we have this situation under control. Though we cannot exactly tell you what our plan is, because some of the villains probably watch this live right now. We just want to clarify a few things before we start with the mission." Best Jeanist replies
The interview goes on and many reporters ask questions and the heroes try to answer every one of them the best they could.
Soon the hero ball is mentioned and want to know what they're expecting for this year since the number 1 to number 10 beat heroes are announced during this event.
After about an hour Endeavor says:
"If you have any still any questions left, please ask them now"
Multiple reporters raise their hand and after almost every question is answered a reporter asks:
"Athena, now that we know who you really are, can you tell us some things about your personal life, like do you have a boyfriend?"
The interview that was originally planned to be just about the current attacks now turned to an interview about Y/N's personal life. As soon as she wanted to say no she remembered what happened the previous day and she starts to blush. Of course no human could interpret this change of her cheeks wrong and start to ask her more questions like:
"Is he a student at UA?"
"Will he join you for the hero ball this weekend as your plus one?"
"Since when are you in a relationship?"
"Will this affect your performance as the number 2 hero?"
"How old is he?"
"What's his name?"
And many more questions followed regarding this matter.
The other pro heroes tried to get back with the main reason this interview is being held, but with no luck.
Soon Y/N couldn't think clearly or decipher any questions anymore because of the many voices filled the room.
So she just said quietly into her microphone the name Bakugo Katsuki. Even though it was quiet, the reporters and the heroes heard her answer are shocked, so shocked that the entire room goes quiet.
Soon after the not expected answer, the hall erupts with questions again and she's slowly being dragged away by Hawks and Best Jeanist that came to her rescue.
After the interview, many posts from the media were already uploaded about Y/N's and Bakugo's possible relationship.
Many people ship them, but there are also some critical things said about it. Like how such a pretty, talented, number 2 hero could that a student that is seems so violent and aggressive.
As soon as Y/N reads those posts, Bakugo texts her and tells her that she shouldn't care about what's said about them, since they're only nosey extras who want to gain attention with their absurd stories.
Y/N tries to ignore the mean things said about her boyfriend, but she couldn't help but feel a guilty that she accidentally revealed their relationship in front of a million people.
That's why she as soon as she gets to her agency, she starts to train and goes on her patrol where she caught a few villains.
Although this helped with lowering her stress levels, she still is feeling sad, that many people who love her don't accept her relationship with the guy she likes.
The clock hits 11 p.m. and Y/N finally gets back to the dorm rooms. She presses the elevator button, gets to her floor and then exits it. She's already near her room, but then decides to try and visit a certain blonde haired guy. She knocks at his door and to her surprise hears a loud groan and a angry opened door followed.
Bakugo wanted to yell who the hell dares to wake him up in the middle of the night but stops his plan as soon as he sees his girlfriend.
"Hey" Y/N starts
"Hey"
"Sorry for waking you up... But I need to talk to you"
The boy let's her in his room and after she walks in, closes the door.
"What's there to talk about?"
"I'm sorry... About the interview... The entire media is talking about us"
"Tch, I already texted you that I don't care about those extras"
"But still... It's... Are you okay?"
"Why the hell wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know..."
Bakugo sighs and tells her to go to bed and not to worry about it. Just as she wants to leave and say goodnight, he pulls her close.
"Who told you to leave?"
"You said I should go to bed-"
"I didn't tell you to go to bed at your room, did I?"
Y/N blushes a bit
"No you didn't..."
Y/N then teleports her pajama into Bakugo's room since she still wears her hero outfit. She changes in his bathroom and walks out of it just to find Bakugo almost asleep laying on his bed.
The girl quickly gets into bed with him and snuggles into him.
"Bakugo?"
"Hm?"
"Have you heard about the hero ball?"
" The one where the ranking of the top 10 heroes is revealed?"
"Yes"
"What about it?"
"Wellllllll since I'm the number 2 hero, I'm of course invited"
"Yeah?"
"And I can bring a plus one... Uh... Do you wanna come with me?"
Bakugo is speechless, which he isn't often.
"You want me to be your date to the hero ball? One of the most important events of being a pro hero? Where they announce this years top 10 heroes?"
"Yeah"
"Okay"
"Wait really? You wanna go with me?"
"Tch, yes"
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! You'll be my first plus one I ever brought to the event, since I couldn't really bring anyone because that could have revealed my identity, but now that everyone knows anyways, I'm pretty excited"
The girl smiles and hugs him
Bakugo's ears slightly turn red but tells her that it isn't a big deal. Although downplaying the whole thing, the boy is secretly also a bit nervous, since this would be the first event he visits with his girlfriend, who also happens to be a candidate for the title of number 2. The fact that a lot of other heroes will attend doesn't make it less nerve wracking and exciting.
The two teenagers soon fall asleep hugging each other, already dreaming about the next days event.
