"Hello?" Jacqueline calls out into the dim lighted building.
After returning back from the abandon, destroyed lad she found out that Ultron had quickly fled the scene. The cradle taken with him. So she returned to the only other place she knew he could be; the Hydra base. There were no sounds of machines whirling or buzzing, and no drones in sight.
It was surprisingly quite for once--she wasn't exactly sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
Did Ultron come back? Or did he move somewhere else?
She shook her head, quickly dismissing her thoughts.
What am I saying. He would never leave, not without me. He wouldn't leave me...right?
She stopped in her tracks, her heart becoming heavy with doubt.
Was Wanda right? About everything? Is he really going to destroy all mankind? Does he not really care about?
The sound of metal clanking against the floor made her eyes dart ahead. Walking to the other shadowy side of a metal cage was Ultron. A really, really big sized Ultron. Definitely bigger than he was before.
If Jacqueline wasn't so relieved that he was still here and hadn't left her, she might've been scared about his new intimidating body.
What happened to the body he was having the scientist lady make. He wanted to Evolve didn't he?
She felt her hand twitch at her side. If he really was going to kill every human being in the world, she could stop him. She grabbed her hand in the other causing the twitching to stop.
She could...but she couldn't.
"Shadow! You came back. I knew you would stay by my side." Ultron says noticing her walking his way.
Jacqueline wrapped her arms him, holding him tight. Ultrom chuckles, patting her on the head. When she let go he placed a hand behind her back.
"Now that your here, I want to show you something. Come look what I've brought you,"
Ultron leads her to the other side of the cage, and through the dark she could see clearly the figure on the floor who looked at both of them with slightly frightened eyes. Her eyes widened.
Locked inside like an animal was none other than Natasha Romanoff aka Black widow.
The Assassin.
"A snack." Ultron said, slamming his other hand on the cage.
Jacqueline backs away, and Ultron gives her a confused look.
"Shadow what's wrong?"
She moved her towards the side, motioning him to follow her. They both walk away from the cage and down a cracked stone hall. She sound on her heel and turns around, pulling off her mask and let's it hang around her neck.
"I'm not going to eat her! I don't want too!" Jacqueline says.
"First with not resting--which I know you have yet to do, young lady--and now this!"
"Ultron!"
"Okay, okay fine. You don't have to eat her. I won't force you too. What I do want the most from you is for you to at least rest. Please, Shadow."
