1.new beginning

you read ahead but I just wanna tell you that this is the first time I every wrote so I hope you like it

New York, high school

"Those stupid ass jerks!" Charlie says angrily as Victor and Josh leave after
bullying him.
As he tries to reach his diary his hands touch somebody else's hand. "Oh, I am sorry!"
As he looks up, he sees a blonde hair guy and he accidently stare in his blue eyes practically a Greek god which makes him nervous and he runs away without looking back.

During lunch

"Hey you must be Charlie " boy, Charlie just met in the school hallway stood right in front of him.
"Yes, it's Charlie " He mumbles.
"I am Bash and I think you forgot your book in the hallway. " The boy, Bash, moves his hand forward for a handshake.
Charlie shrinks back. "I'm sorry I don't like physical touch."
He adds nervously, "I know it's kind of weird, thank u for returning the book."
"You're welcome.", he smiles. "Wait! Are u reading the new empire issue?"
"Yes issue 6 actually."
"Cool. Want to be friends?"
"Sure"
"Would u like to hang out this Sunday?"
"I would love to but I have a movie date on Sunday with my bf. "
"Bf as in boyfriend!!?? " Bash was shocked.
Charlie looked mildly annoyed. "I mean the school knows I'm gay."
"Oh, I know that but I didn't know u had a bf... But don't worry I'm not homophobic or anything I am an ally!"
"I thank u for your service sir."

*The bell rings *

"Bye"

Sunday, on Charlie's phone

B: hi
C: hi
B: wait, weren't you
on your date?
C: I was, but then his
Family matter came so
B: sad I know
C: Yeah idk but I think
he is acting weird lately...
B: like how?
C: like he is been avoiding
going out. He doesn't
want to hug when I am
Ok.
C: I mean l am haphephobia
means fear of touch and it
takes me time to get
comfortable and all. So...
B: oh, I get it so try
communicating
C: yeah, maybe. thanks
B: welcome, bye

Monday, Charlie's phone

C: hey bash I was
wondering if u
Could come over
my house is left
to the mall we
Can hang out
B: sure, I will be
there in 5 min
C: thanks

At Charlie's home

*Bell rings *

"Open the door Charlie I am cooking!" Victoria shouts from the kitchen.
"Yes going."
"Who is it?"
"It's Bash.", Charlie answers while opening the door.
Bash stood there, confused. "Is she your sister?"
"Who is Bash?"
"He's my friend; we are going to my room."
"Ok."

At Charlie's room

"Wait you have a whole shelf of books? Whoa! Can I borrow a book? I will return it, I promise."
"Of course you can. But now listen, I know, I am being selfish but I called you because I want to tell you something."
"Idiot you're not selfish! I mean, that is what friends are for."
"Ok ok. So, listen. Today I was talki-"
"How are u little guy" Bash interrupts as Charlie's cat enters the room and starts petting it.
"That's my cat. Her name is Luna, now listen!"
"Ok, go on."
"So, I was talking to Eddie online."
"Eddie? " Bash sounded confused.
"My bf. So, he said that his mother was kinda sick and so I recently baked a cake."
"Go on."
"So, I was going to his house with that cake and my heart sank as I saw him leaving for the movies with a girl and yes before u say it could be her sister. They kissed." Charlie says in an angry voice.
"That's sad." Bash says in a calming voice. "Can I hug you?"
"Sure, unless you fill uncomfortable." Bash gives Charlie a big, warm hug. "Thanks."
They stay like this for a while until Bash let's go.
"Wait I have an idea do u have a mic?"
"Yes, but why?"
"No sad or break-up song! Only pop songs!"
"Hoh, I love the idea I will play the drums"
