Too far gone

What's life if you don't live it on the edge?

Maria peacefully laid in her comfortable bed sleeping until her phone buzzed. She looked at it and saw it was Seth. He was the only one that woke her up in the morning.
"I'm up! Good morning! :)" Maria replied.
"Just making sure! I know how much you love to sleep in."Seth responded.
Maria got out of her bed and walked up to her dresser and pulled out a white and orange jacket and some white ruffled skirt. Maria put on her clothes and headed out to the bathroom then the door to the kitchen.
"Are you making your lunch this morning?"Maria's mom questioned.
"No not today."Maria answered.
"Good you know your little sister has to have her lunch every single day, and if you bring you lunch she will be missing one day of her lunch!"Maria's mom said while smiling at Maria's little sister,Kelly.
"I'm glad she's eating."Maria smiled.
"She actually eats, unlike you."
Maria wanted to get smart and say,
"I would if you won't stop giving all the food to Kelly!"
But she knew that would only lead to something bad, So she kept her mouth shut. Maria saw the bus going down the hill and she walked out the house saying nothing.

he bus clanked and creeked just like the usual. The doors flew open at Maria's face. Maria walked up the stairs and tryed to ignore the talking and tried her best to go to her seat. Maria sat down and pulled out her phone from her pocket. She looked and see if there's any new messages. As as the usual there was none. She reaching her other pockets to grab her headphones only to pull nothing out but an empty gum wrapper. Maria rolled her eyes and cut off her phone and decide eavesdrop on the popular kids. All she heard was nothing but, Monica this Monica that! Until she heard something from the far back. Something about an app. Talking to strangers. Maria try to blur at the popular kids and try to see what those kids were talking about. It was something about an app, and how you can talk to strangers but it's just you and that stranger, and they can be from anywhere in the world! The app was called Eggen. It was the new popular app in school apparently. Maria thought it was kind of boring so she didn't listen to the rest of the conversation. Soon enough the bus stopped at the school. She was the first person to get off the bus. She walked inside the school building and headed to her locker. She put in her code and opened it up. Her locker was full of pictures of her and Seth it had a lot of pastel ribbons on the inside. She placed her backpack on the inside, she was grabbing off our binders from her locker when she heard some kids talking. And what was crazy was they were talking about Eggen. She headed to class and sat down in her seat. And then more kids were talking about the app. When class ended she went to go walk to her other classroom on the way to her other classroom she met Seth.
"Hey um Seth, do you know about an app called Eggen?"
Maria questioned.
"Oh uh I've heard about it I'm not quite sure about it though it kind of sounds weird... like too weird...like talking to strangers? I don't know about you but my parents taught me not to talk to strangers."
Seth responded
"Yeah but I kind of want to try it out!"
Maria excitedly said.
"Maria no! Don't try it! it sounds kind of weird! I mean like hear the name of it it's really called 'Eggen'!"
Seth said surprisingly.
"Oh come on Seth, what is life if you don't live it on the edge?!"
Maria shockingly said.
Seth just looked at her crazy and they went to their classes.
