Too far gone

One last drink

After a couple days rode by it was Malachi's birthday. Malachi has been disturbing Maria about it all day to make sure she's going to be there on time. Maria was digging through her closet trying to find the perfect dress so Malachi can show off his friends on how pretty his girlfriend is. She picked up a darkish green non-strap dress with ruffles and a split in the middle going down near the skirt. she did her hair into curls and walked out to the front door when she got stopped.
"And where do you think you're going missy?"
Maria's mom grabbed Maria's arm and looked at her.
"Mom I'm going to a party don't worry I'll be back!"
Maria said anxiously.
"You know I used to love going to parties when I was your age I guess if you can just come home before 12:00 at night you will be good."
Maria's mom said smiling.
"Thank you so much Mom, bye I'll make it up to you!"
Maria said walking out the door and waving by. Even the Malachi has a very far Maria walk. She left her house early so she could get to Malachi's house on time. When she arrived she was so happy to see Malachi. She knocked on the door and Malachi opened very quickly.
"Malachi honey!"
Maria said grasping on his neck and kissing him.
"Aw thank you Maria! Oh geez, you look stunning!"
Malachi said astonished.
Malachi was an 18 year old man with tan skin and had dreads and also was wearing a black tuxedo with a green tie. Maria was also 18 except she had white skin and blonde straight hair. They were still at each other for about a minute and then Malachi greeted her inside. It was a huge home and had an elevator the elevator went up three floors and they had a huge back deck with a built-in pool and when you walked inside the house the floors were made out of white tiles and had a big chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Maria had to remind herself how lucky you have a girl she was to have him. They spent a couple hours together when Maria asked where the other people were.
"Well I mean they were supposed to show up I mean it's my birthday after all."
Malachi said looking towards the door.
"It's okay Malachi at least I made it on time!"
Maria said grabbing his hands and pulling it in front of her. Maria looked at her phone clock and saw that it was 10:30 pm and it took about 40 minutes to get home. Maria took one last sip of her drink and sat it down.
"Hey Malachi I'm sorry but I got to go it takes me a while to walk home I didn't bring a car, so I'm heading home now. I love you!"
Maria said heading towards the door.
"Wait Maria please one last drink? It's my mom's special! You like fruits?"
Malachi quickly distracted her.
"Yeah of course I love fruits but I mean it's really pushing time."
Maria said while walking back towards her seat and her empty cup.
"Thank you! you won't regret it but yeah it's basically like a lot of fruits it's kind of like a smoothie so it kind of will kill the smell of  your other drink on your mouth!"
Malachi said.
"Oh yeah I forgot I know my mom will definitely smell my breath when I walk inside."
Maria said swirling her finger around inside her empty Glass cup.
"Here's one fruit blast for one beautiful lady!"
Malachi said while sliding the glass across the counter. Malachi grabbed his glass and sat down right beside Maria.
"Wow I love this taste of this you need to make this all the time!"
Maria said while sipping the whole drink.
"Oh my goodness I didn't know you like fruits that much haha!"
Malachi chuckled
"I mean I love fruits but there is something that tastes so good, what kind of fruits did you buy?"
Maria question.
"I don't really know the fruits we buy but I guess normal fruits."
Malachi said while sipping the rest of his down. Maria got light-headed and put her hand on her head.
"Ugh I got a brain freeze!"
Maria said was holding her head on her hand.
"I know it's so good it gives you brain freezes a lot of times!"
Malachi said while continuing drinking his drink. Then all of a sudden Maria fell to the floor, passed out, and helpless. The glass cup she was holding fell with her and shattered all over the floor leaving leftover smoothie everywhere on the floor. Malachi put his cup down gently and stood up smirking. He walked over to her body and picked her up and took her out of the room.
