Meanwhile in Leonardo's office :
" Dad how can you do this ??..how can you get her married off to someone just like that ,this is not right dad " Dante yelled at his father .
"Dante do not cross your limits you have no authority to speak with me in this manner and about this marriage thing I know what I am doing and what is good and bad for my daughter " Leonardo spoke in a firm tone
"Dad have you really thought about it you know right there is no need to get Sera married this early she is only of 24 years there is still a lot of time and about Riccardo I know you might have done a background check on him and that is the only reason you agreed to this but can you please think about this once more" Nicolas pleaded to his dad .
You both know very well how it is suppose to happen in our world ,girls are treated like shit and are supposed to be a bargain chip for good alliance I do not want my baby to go through all this , all these years my only goal was to give my baby a happy life and not to let that smile slip away from her beautiful face .
"After that incident I always thought that I failed as a father I still remember all those sleepless nights when she woke up crying , the days when she would not even let us touch her I do not want to see her like that ever again. I want something or someone to protect her from this world ."
"You Nicolas you have your own family to protect and about you Dante soon you will also have a family of your own to look after so this is why I do not want my baby to ever feel alone ."
That night of the yearly ball where all the families from the Big Mafia's came together
Sera took a liking towards Riccardo De Luca the one who has all the power we require to protect our baby she requested me think about this marriage and after alot of thought and research I finally agreed to it and spoke with Alessandro De Luca who is also my old friend and he and his wife agreed for this marriage .
"They are more than happy to accept our Sera as their daughter so I don't think there is any problem with this marriage I know they will keep our daughter happy and safe . "Leonardo told his son .
"Also if she is not happy the doors to this house are always open for her , she can come and stay here for the rest of her life and I will gladly take care of her okay . "
After hearing this both Dante and Nicolas agreed for the marriage just for the sake of their baby sister's hapiness and safety .
