The night air was thick with tension, a weight that settled over Hammad and his family as they sat outside the grand house, absorbing the echoes of the recent chaos. Hammad's face was streaked with tears, his mother's gentle hand rubbing circles on his back, whispering soft words to soothe his broken heart.

Just then, Yoongi came running up to them, his breaths heavy and uneven, clearly having raced to get there. As soon as he saw his older brother's tear-stained face, Yoongi's own eyes welled up, and without a second thought, he stumbled forward, his hand trembling as he reached for Hammad.

"Hammad... I’m so sorry…" Yoongi choked, his voice barely a whisper, thick with guilt and regret.

But Hammad flinched, his jaw clenched, eyes blazing with a pain and fury Yoongi hadn’t seen before. He swatted Yoongi's hand away, his voice a harsh, broken whisper. "Don’t… don’t you dare touch me, Yoongi."

"Hammad, please, listen to me. I never wanted any of this to happen, I was only trying—"

Before he could finish, Hammad’s hand lashed out, a swift, angry slap that echoed in the silence of the night. Yoongi stumbled back, a hand flying to his cheek, his eyes wide with shock as he looked at his brother.

“You think sorry will fix this?” Hammad spat, voice trembling. “You put everything I have, everything I love, at risk. Do you have any idea what you’ve done?”

Tears spilled down Yoongi’s cheeks, the raw hurt in his eyes unmistakable. “Hammad… I never meant… I was only trying to protect you.”

Hammad let out a bitter laugh, the sound hollow. "Protect me? You call this protection? You destroyed everything, Yoongi! Everything that mattered!"

Their mother placed a hand on Hammad's shoulder, a gentle but firm reminder. “Hammad, please. He’s your brother.”

Hammad closed his eyes, a tear slipping down his cheek. He took a shaky breath, his anger simmering but still intense. “I don’t know if I can ever forgive you, Yoongi. Not for this.”

Yoongi’s shoulders shook as he silently cried, guilt and regret heavy in every tear.

Hammad’s voice was barely above a whisper, but the weight of his words fell like stones between them, each one sharper than the last. “I was trying to protect us, Yoongi. I was trying to save everyone. But you… you shook hands with Camila, of all people. The same person who destroyed our childhood, and now, she’s wrecked everything we’ve tried to build in our lives.”

Yoongi’s face twisted with remorse, a storm of emotions raging inside him as he wiped the tears from his face. “Hammad, I swear, I didn’t know she’d go this far. I thought… I thought I could keep her in check, maybe even fix things. I thought I could stop her from hurting us.”

Hammad’s laugh was bitter, filled with anguish. “You can’t fix someone like her, Yoongi! She’s poison. She’s ruined us once, and now she’s come back to ruin us again. And you let her.”

Yoongi clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white as his face hardened. “I swear on everything, Hammad, I won’t let her get away with this. I won’t forgive her. She’s gone too far.”

Hammad’s eyes narrowed, his anger flaring. “And what exactly are you going to do, Yoongi? The damage is done. She’s already gotten what she wanted.”

Yoongi’s voice shook with a dark determination. “No… she hasn’t. Not yet.” His gaze shifted, fierce and unwavering. “I’ll make her pay, Hyung. She’ll regret ever coming back into our lives. I swear, I’ll kill her if I have to.”

Hammad’s jaw tightened, his own anger momentarily eclipsed by a flicker of shock. “Yoongi… don’t make promises you can’t keep. I don’t want you digging deeper into this mess.”
