WHAT? Sophie screamed her head off.

I hate to break it to you Sophie, but you should know.

At the same exact moment Keefe came in and strangle hugged her. As relived as she was to see him she could sense something was wrong.

Is something wrong, she immediately asked.

Before Keefe could answer her Alden, Della,Biana and Fitz rushed in along with Grady, Edaline, Tiergan and Magnate Leto.
The healing center become really crowded.

Biana and Fitz rushed beside her, Biana Takle hugged her.
What is wrong? She asked.
Now she was totally certain something was wrong.

I don't know Biana wiped a tear from her beautiful face. We were only told that you were in the healing center.
Nobody would let us know, not even Keefe, She looked at him clearly feeling betrayed.

What about the others? She asked.

They don't know accept Marrela and Dex, they were not allowed to come in the healing center.

Are you okay? Fitz interrupted.
His crisp accented voice echoed in her ear.

I am fine. She replied.

Fitz did not look convinced.

Della ushered them away and told them to wait outside.

But why does Keefe get to stay then? Biana protested.

Because he was involved Alden replied.

Okay, Can somebody please tell me what is going on?

Alden looked at her, we don't know if it is safe to tell You yet Sophie.

Please, I can handle it she replied anxious to get any information possible.

Alden sighed.

I don't know how to break it to you, but I suppose you deserve to know.

Magnate Leto Aka Mr Forkle continued it for him when Alden did not say anything for a while.

The Neverseen put there newest device on your head somehow, that altered your emotions and could make them control you. Fortunately we found out and removed it before it could cause permanent damage.

He let that sink in.

Sophie rubbed her temples, that explained why she felt like her emotions weren't hers. For the past one week. Another question triggered in her head.

But why didn't you tell me before,
And what was Keefe doing?

The Neverseen were monitoring each of your moves really carefully. If they
Sensed any threat they could order the gadget to kill you. The gadget is specially designed to report the emotions you feel.

The safest way was to sedate you and move you to safe place were we could carefully remove the gadget.

The most appropriate person to do this was Mr Sencen. The plan was to make you swallow the sedative in your sleep.
But you were awake when Mr Sencen reached there so he had to make you drink it. You did react but not enough to make the Neverseen suspect much.
