"Is this everyone?"
The twenty-three male trainees began looking around in curiosity, questioning the particularly long pause.
"Twenty-three, is that all of us?" just as it was mentioned, the number twelve, which was previously stuck on the screen, switched to fourteen. "What?" though somewhat relieved, the contenders couldn't help but wonder the sudden change. "Why is it suddenly fourteen?"
"Is someone coming?" the sounds of the doors opening had caught their attention. There was a short moment of silence before they began to hear footsteps. "Ooh, someone's coming! Someone's coming!" Speculations of a producer or host showing up have made their hearts race faster. Are we finally starting?

"Unnie, I really don't want to go in first— I'm nervous," Haneul whispered, unable to take the first step into the large, gaping door.
"Do you want to go first?" Alice quietly asked Binna, the oldest of the bunch.
"That room is filled with twenty-three boys. It's kind of intimidating," Binna chuckled nervously, earning an agreement from Haneul and Alice.
"Should we do rock, paper, scis—" before the proposal was fully uttered, Della had stepped into the building without a prior warning. The three were taken aback at the girl's actions, but were quick to follow behind their 'leader'. "Della it is!"
As they step into the lit corridor, the only thing they could see on the other side was a large display of the number fourteen. With a few more steps in, both parties were able to finally get a crisper view of each other.
"You're kidding..."
"Here they come," Rain smiled when he saw the shocked looks on the boys' faces. "Do they know that there were going to be girls as well?"
