"Let's leave our things here and go."

After the entrance test, Alice and I ended up being the only girls to get through. While it is relieving, I can't help but feel incredibly guilty. I know that Binna and Haneul were usually better than this, but I think their nerves got the better of them. It could've happened to anybody— who's to say it didn't happen to the other contenders? Heck, there's a chance for us to join them in a bit too.

Damn girl, why did you choose a career where nothing matters except the end result?

Who the fuck came up with the self-voting idea anyway? We're potential group partners but they're pinning us up against one another. I thought they were gonna grade us like the Produce shows or something.

We watched a quick explanation of the rules before we rushed to get a tour of the premises. And oh boy, the budget for this show was insane. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm incredibly blessed to come from a large company or I can't imagine the debt I'll have to deal with.

I-Land is utterly amazing. It was truly built for trainees so there isn't anything like it. It was borderline unreal with how modern they made it, it was like a spaceship straight out of a movie.

They even prepared separate rooms reserved only for the girls! There are only two beds but they're queen sized instead of the boys' semi-double, so all four girlies can fit in comfortably.

Which I seriously hope will happen soon. I really want to debut together.

Once we were done, we gathered to sit on the living area with eyes scanning one another. The screen displaying our pictures in cards felt like a mockery— constantly reminded us that we have to kick four people out.

The boys seem fairly comfortable with each other already and us girls were the only ones keeping to ourselves. They've seen each other plenty of times before but this is truly the first time we were allowed to be in one room.

They started to discuss strategies on how to vote while Alice and I continued to observe everyone quietly, trying to understand their vibes and personalities. Everyone is nervous, but you can immediately pinpoint those who aren't too sure about their own skills versus those who know they did well.

"Do you girls have any suggestions?" tall-danger-guy, K asked us, noticing how quiet we've been since we got here. The whole room suddenly turned to the two of us, and I feel myself getting nervous again.

I scanned through everyone's eyes for a moment (practically skipping Jake) and saw a few of them turn away and shift uncomfortably. Whoops.
