Sana was having dinner with her family when her thoughts wandered to Sidharth, pondering over the mysterious hold he seemed to have over her. She glanced at her brother, who was engrossed in his meal yet still managing to flirt with his wife, prompting an eye roll from Sana at the scene.

Suddenly, Sana's mother uttered words that lit up Shehnaaz's face with joy.

"We have to go to Ada's birthday party tonight."

Upon hearing this, Sana felt like she was on cloud nine; it meant she would have the chance to see Sidharth, Ada's brother. She couldn't contain her excitement, mentally dancing at the thought.

Varya noticed her friend's eyes gleaming with newfound interest, a rare sight considering Shehnaz usually dismissed boys as if they were rotten tomatoes. She silently hoped for the best.

The Oberoi mansion was bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, its expansive lawns decorated with twinkling fairy lights, colorful balloons, and elegant floral arrangements. Tonight was a special night, a night to celebrate Ada Oberoi's birthday, and the Singhaniya family had just arrived, brimming with excitement.

Shehnaaz's heart pounded as she stepped out of the car, her eyes scanning the crowd for a glimpse of Sidharth. She had been looking forward to this evening, not just to celebrate Ada's special day but to see Sidharth, the man who had stolen her heart.

"Shehnaaz, you look beautiful!" Varya exclaimed, linking arms with her best friend. "Today is going to be amazing."

"Thanks, Varya," Shehnaaz replied with a nervous smile. "I hope so."

As they approached the entrance, they were warmly greeted by Rita Oberoi, Sidharth and Ada's mother.

"Sweta, Sanjay, it's so wonderful to see you!" Rita said, hugging her old friends. "And look at Shehnaaz and Naqsh! They’ve grown up so much!"

Sweta smiled. "Time flies, doesn't it? Happy birthday to Ada. She looks beautiful tonight."

"Thank you! Ada's been so excited for this party," Rita replied. "Please, come in and make yourselves at home."

The Singhaniya family mingled with the other guests, the atmosphere buzzing with excitement. Ada, the birthday girl, was the center of attention, her laughter filling the air as she moved from one group to another, greeting everyone with a radiant smile.

"Varya di, Shehnaaz di, come here!" Ada called out, waving them over. "I want you to meet Arsh."

Arsh, a tall and charming young man, greeted them with a warm smile. "Hi, nice to meet you both. Ada has told me so much about you."

"Nice to meet you too, Arsh," Shehnaaz replied, her spirits lifting slightly. "So, how do you know Ada?"

"Oh, we're childhood friends," Arsh said, glancing fondly at Ada. "We've known each other forever."

"Arsh is like my brother," Ada chimed in, unaware of the love-struck look in Arsh's eyes. "He's always been there for me."

Shehnaaz and Varya exchanged a knowing glance. It was clear that Arsh's feelings for Ada went beyond friendship, but Ada remained blissfully unaware.

Shehnaaz's eyes wandered, searching for Sidharth. She spotted him with Naqsh, their easy camaraderie evident as they shared laughs and inside jokes. Gathering her courage, she decided to approach them.

"Hi Sidharth," she said softly, hoping to catch his attention.

Sidharth barely glanced at her, his smile fading. "Oh, hi Shehnaaz," he replied curtly before turning back to Naqsh.
