3rd POV
April 1st Early Morning
"Y/n.... Y/n....!"
Y/n looked up from his breakfast at his sister sitting across from him, "Yes?"
"You've been staring at your eggs so long I thought you had a brain hemorrhage and died while eating breakfast." Tae said as she took a sip of her morning coffee.
"It's nothing. Just thinking." Y/n said.
"About what?" Tae asked.
"Nonsensical dream stuff.." Y/n said.
"What? Did you have a wet dream or something?" Tae asked.
"Why is dreaming about water freaky?" Y/n asked blankly.
Tae let out a small sigh, "Honestly, I'm surprised how clueless you can be sometimes."
Y/n just stared at her blankly, not knowing what she was talking about.
After breakfast, Y/n was doing the dishes before he headed off to school when Tae walked out in her work clothes; basically her usual punk rock attire but replacing her leather jacket with her doctor's coat.
"I'm off to work." She said as he walked over to the front porch and slipped on her heels, "Remember to lock the door when you go to school, 'Kay?"
"Okay." Y/n said.
"And don't trip and bash your teeth in. I'm a doctor, not a dentist." Tae said as she left.
"Okay." Y/n said, exactly like the first one like a tape recorder on loop.
After finishing up, he grabbed his backpack and a bag with a pair of sneakers in them, tied up his roller skates, and took off towards school.
Y/n skated through the streets like a well oiled machine, weaving through the crowd of people heading to their businesses or schools. As he slowed down in front of a crosswalk and waited for it to turn green. He pulled out his phone to check the time when he noticed something weird.
A app he had never seen before was opened up on his phone. The icon showed an eye behind a swirl of black and reds. It was some kind of navigation app but instead of only a location, it was asking for a person, a location and a distortion.
As the light turned green, he skated forward, still peering at his phone. He absentmindedly tried his own name, "Target not found"
He then tried his sister's name, "Target not found". He was at a lost after using the only two names he knew off the top of his head. He was so engrossed in his phone, he didn't notice the someone was walking in front of him.
"Oof!!" The guy grunted as he and Y/n crashed into one another and both fell to the ground. Y/n looked up to see a boy with shaggy brown hair groaning in pain on the ground. He wore a hoodie inside a blue school blazer and pants with a striped tie sticking out of his pocket.
