Ivy POV

I wake up at about 08:00 and slowly start my morning, idk why but I was feeling exhausted even though I had I full nights rest. Kai and I did chat for a while this morning and she told me that I have to be ready by 5 so that we can get there at 6 and be early.

I had no intention of getting ready any time soon and desperately wanted to go out a do a little bit of shopping. I decided to go wear a basic outfit and do some damage to my bank account.

I went to the nearest mall and picked out some shoes at Dior because I had been eyeing them for months. I did a bit more shopping and came across Victoria secret and decided to treat myself to a cute lingerie set, not for anyone but for me because I needed to appreciate myself more especially after him. I opted for a cute lavender set that had lace and a few ribbons on the sides.

I got some food because I was starving and decided to go home for a nap because I knew I was gonna be out late that night.
I almost overslept if it wasn't for my phone's constant ringing and you guessed it was Kai telling me again that I had to be ready in 3 hours. Although I was extremely annoyed with her constantly phoning me I was kind of grateful because I would have definitely overslept.

I hoped in the shower and did my skincare. I noticed that my hair was due for a wash day so I decided to put my hair up in a bun and did my edges. I went for a simple make up look with a sharp black liner to make the look look more dramatic. I opted for gold accessories to complement my skin.
My outfit was simple but cute because I wanted to be comfortable.

At this point it was 4:45 and decided to let Kai know that I was done

When she got to my house she was so anxious and worried that everything can go wrong but I reassured her that everything will be fine. "But what if she doesn't like how I look in person or if I'm actually annoying?" She said while tapping her nails on the uber's window, "relax Kai she will like you for you and if she doesn't then it is her loss. You also haven't told me who this girl is or even her name?" I question realizing she has not told me much about her. "Don't worry about that I'll introduce you to her when we meet up before the game" she said.

The uber ride there was filled with Kai being on aux and continuously playing FTCU for who knows what reason but our uber was definitely not happy. The uber tells us that we are almost there and Kai takes this as a sign to freshen up and I subconsciously do the same. While in was putting on a final spray of my perfume my phone dings and I noticed that the guy from the gym, zion, followed me and liked three of my recent post and I smile a little, I follow him back and got a suspicious smirk on Kai's face but I wave her off.

The uber arrived at the arena and kai showed security our VIP passes which gave us access to all the amenities and access to the court before the game. Kai messaged her secret crush that we were here and told me that she was inside and we could go in now. I noticed kai did a silent pray and I laughed at her. "Relax babes you look great, you have nothing to worry about." I reassured her. "Thanks babe I needed that"she smiles.

We walk into the arena and see a few other VIPS and we see some people filling the seats in the arena. We start to walk down to where we were sitting and notice that the seats were in the dead center which meant we got an amazing view from courtside. Kai's eyes seemed to skim the players that were practicing on the court until her eyes seemed to stop an a very familiar face. "That's her over there" she pointed the the girl that I was looking at already. The girl notices her and starts walking over.

"Hey kai I'm glad you came" she says with a friendly smile. "Yes of course, this is my friend Ivy, Ivy this is Paige" she motioned, then it hit me "wait I met you yesterday at the gym" I say. "Yes we bumped into eachother when leaving , its nice to see you again." " likewise, it's nice to see the person that Kai has been talking abo..." I say but get stopped by a very embarrased Kai " thank you Ivy that was very nice of you, why don't you go find our seats ?" She said though a smile. I slightly laughed and let them keep chatting while I went to get our seats.

I sat down a looked around the arena and realized how big it actually was. I took a few pics for my story but stopped when I noticed someone. She was tall with tattoos, long hair and her Jersey number was 21. She was hot. Her eyes are what captivated me though, they were slightly droopy but had this intense feeling like I have seen them before and made me want to stare at her for longer but next minute I heard some shout "WATCH OUT" I looked over and thankfully I was blessed with quick reflexes because I hit the ball that was flying in my direction to the side. The player apologized but now almost everyone was looking at me including her but I noticed that she did not seem concerned like the others but rather an irritated look. I was confused because I'm pretty sure I have never spoken to this women.

The game ran and Kai was supporting Paige and definitely made it known. I laughed at her antics but I was focused on number 21 for most of the game. She played defense and was definitely good at it. She blocked almost every shot that the other team attempted. Paige's team won and everyone was celebrating and I noticed that Paige seemed close to number 21 and when they were done celebrating Pagie came over to us with number 21 trailing behind her.

"So what did you think of the game?" She basically asked kai only because she was staring deep into Kai's eyes. "You guys played really well, congratulations" kai said then hugged Paige. "Yeah you guys played really well " I said, i looked at number 21 but she was not even looking at me . " oh this is Emily, she's my bestfriend so I thought it was only fair to meet mine because I had already met yours. "Its nice to meet you Emily " kai said with a friendly smile. "Its nice to meet you too Kai, I've heard so much" she said in a low husk voice. Kai seemed embarrassed "I hope all things good." Emily just gave a friendly smile. She also had nice teeth which is very important to me, this made her more attractive.

"Emily are you not going to introduce yourself to Ivy?" Paige says. " nah, she didn't leave the best impression last time we spoke."

Huh!? We have met before
