Blaze:Do you ever feel unappreciated?
Darien:As an Air? All the time
Blaze:Just compared to the other element kids, I mean Coral and River have that evil thing, Nova's a goddess, Tulip and Rose have Wild stuff, and we're just air and fire
Darien:Yes, but just because they're more popular doesn't mean they're better, look at it this way, we all need each other.
Blaze:I guess... but we're just the other elements, have you looked at what the papers say?
Darien:I have the biggest library in all the six kingdoms, of course I know what the papers say!
Blaze:That's the first time I heard you yell
Darien:Sorry.
Blaze:Why don't you yell anyways?
Darien:Since I was young I was always put under pressure to be the calm and put together Air Princess, because of my father.
Blaze:That's something else, I know we all have to put up with pressure made from our parents but you definitely have it the worst
Darien:And you?
Blaze:Pardon?
Darien:Why are you like this? Not in a mean way
Blaze:The Fire element has always been seen as the happy, will strong, and extra element. I saw a few episodes, I think that's what it's called, of a show, Avator? Avatar. Anyways, it showed the fires being awful... I never want to be like that
Darien:So, you're going to be the opposite? Or at least try?
Blaze:No! I don't want to think about it anymore..
Darien:But who do you want to be? Not what the kingdom wants you to be
Blaze:I guess I never thought of it that way. I guess, I want to play element ball, maybe be something more than a Fire.
Darien:So that's what you want? To be recognized as a person and not just a Fire?
Blaze:Hm. Yeah, I'm a person with emotions too, I may not turn evil or be a god or a Wild but I'm something
Darien:You know, I've always known you as "Blaze the Prince of Fire who was so extra" but now I see the real you
Blaze:And who do you want to be?
Darien:Definitely not the book-smart Air, I like reading, yes, but maybe people can see that I'm funny or have a brighter personality
Blaze:Okay, tell me a joke
Darien:What?
Blaze:I'm seeing if you're funny
Darien:Um, justice is a dish best served cold, otherwise it'll melt
Blaze:That made me laugh but not in the way I think you want
Darien:I'm not good, am I?
Blaze:Practice it more, it'll be better
