An echo traveled the cavern. Droplets fell from spikes on the top, landing in little puddles on the cavern floor. An old deity walked through the cavern, his footsteps echoed throughout followed by his wooden cane. The old man in black robes reached a underwater lake.

The old man sat down and placed his cane on his lap and both of his hands on the cavern floor. After many hours of only droplets and his footsteps making sound, the old man spoke. "My love, the time has come. The reign of the gods has gone on for too long, it's time for a new era. One of peace and tranquillity."

The cavern shook, and some spikes even fell. Once it had finally calmed down a women stepped out of the lake and out to meet the old man. "You are absolutely right my dear. I'm glad you finally see the way it is. I'm afraid my attempt to take them out was futile, only ending in more of my children being killed, then branded the bad guys. No longer my love. With our powers combined we shall make a new breed, one that cannot be stopped. As long as their hearts stay pure and their intention clear, they will live forever, to not be ever defeated." The woman, a young and beautiful one surrounded the old man. They both glowed a string light, one gold and the other brown. The cavern began to shake violently. When the light died down, there stood the old man and the beautiful young lady. However, now in front of them fourteen babies floated.

The lady took the first child into her hands, a young boy, she looked down at his face and spoke, "This first child is Leonardo, the Colossus of the Forge and Fire," then she picked up the next one, a girl, "This is Piper, the Colossus of Love and Natural Beauty," next a boy, "This is Frank, the Colossus of War."

Another boy was next, "This is Nico, Colossus of the Underworld and the Dead." she kept on picking up the children until she had gone through all of them. "Jason, Colossus of the Skies and Lightning, Annabeth, the Colossus of Wisdom and Knowledge, Luke, Colossus of Messengers, Thieves, and Travelers. Pollux, Colossus of Wine and Insanity. Katie, Colossus of Agriculture. Elizabeth, Colossus of the Hearth. Thalia, Colossus of the Moon and Hunt. Will, Colossus of the Sun, Healing, and Prophesies. Hazel, Colossus of Family and Fertility." One by one Gaea went through every child giving them their titles. Finally one child, a boy, was left. This boy was different from the rest though. His glow of power was much stronger than the other's. Not only that but it was so strong that it over shone the old man's aura, and was almost as strong as the one of the lady. This was mostly impressive because the child was well, a mire baby.

With delicacy the beautiful you lady picked up her final kid and proclaimed, "This is Perseus, Colossus of the Waters, Aquatic Creatures, and Emperor of the Colossus." The mother was about to place the last baby with the rest, but before she could the old man stopped her.

"Wait, dear, one last thing," the old man said as he walked towards her and the last baby. "He shall be the Colossus of the Heavens as well." He placed his hand on the child and once it began to glow the aura of the child grew even stronger to match that of the mother. He then took his cane and in a flash of light it turned to a nice gold watch with a leather strap. He placed the watch on top of the baby and nodded towards the mother.

"Then, he shall be the Colossus of the Earth as well," said the beautiful young lady as she placed her hand on her last child just like the father. She then placed the child with his siblings.

The babies arranged in a circle facing inwards. The roof of the cavern began to retract until a hole went all the way to the surface. Moonlight shone on them. The babies shot up and out into the Canadian tundra. From there the babies all shot toward the same place, New York City.

There lived the gods, and there these children would be raised to take them down. The old man was the grandfather of the gods, Uranus, and the beautiful young lady was their grandmother, Gaea. Neither were restricted by the ancient laws that the corrupt gods implemented because their children were all immortal. Though in reality the gods placed that rule down simply because they didn't care about mortals or their demigod children, but didn't wang to look bad.
