The breeze carries the scent of the flowers, the scene quite perfect with the sunset slowing rippling down. Nerium picked up a leaf, "What a beautiful day," The air currents picking up her long-dark blue hair bristling in the breeze. As Onise her personal guard, stood leaning on the tree she was sitting upon. "Nerium, let's head back, it's getting late" Onise glanced into the setting sun, and Nerium sighed.

They arrived at the castle, "Princess Nerium, why are you so late? Your duties will have to be doubled again," The king's adviser informed her, rolling his eyes. Nerium then nodded and went to her room, she rubbed her eyes and yawned,
Nerium: "Onise... can you help me tomorrow?"
Onise: "Sure Neo,"
He smiled, then went to his room to sleep.

In the morning, as she went to eat breakfast, she over heard some gossip, whispers of,
Maid 1: "I heard the princess has gotten a ball proposal,"
Maid 2: "by whom?"
Maid 1: "By Prince Lucifer Clathomae,"
Maid 2 "Oohhh..~ lucky girl," By the name Nerium cringes, as she thinks, 'A ball? Ughhh...' She heads for the dining hall and Onise follows quickly,
Onise: "Neo, what's wro-"
Nerium: "Nothing! Not at all, everything's fine..!" She interrupts quickly,
Nerium: "Anyways, when is next sword practice?"
Onise: "Right after breakfast,"
Nerium: "Good I'll tell you there, too many people who'll probably hear,"
Looks over at the maids, whose cheeks got slightly red.

At the dining hall, the king and queen; aka the mother and father of Nerium, welcomed her. "Dear daughter, you've been invited to a ball," Her father says, smiling slightly, while eating his pancakes. "You shall attend and look your very best, and enjoy the party while you're at it," The queen smiles warmly, Bakul, her brother licked the maple syrup, silently, "Of course..." Nerium sighed, and Onise was smiling slightly but a bit of laughter in his eyes. Nerium's red eyes narrowed threateningly, making Onise choke on his pancakes a bit. "You ok?" Nerium asked, but with a stern, slightly threatening tone, with her most innocent expression, "Y-yes, your majesty, absolutely fine" Onise hiding his stutter well.

In the yard, where they were practicing their swordplay, Nerium felt quite angered, so when the battle began she only let a pinch of mercy. She slashed her sword, and fought with Onise, who was doing well. "Did you know Ingura Tomby is great for hallucinations?" Onise questioned, Nerium laughed, "What a random fact at such a random time, anyways checkmate," Onise laughed as the sword was directly on his chest, "I think you got the wrong word, it's Allez," Before she could say anything, she was called to the dressing room. She sighed, "The fun's over for now,"
Onise: "You're getting better everyday Neo, anywho, I'm gonna get ready too, and beat you eventually,"
Nerium scoffed playfully, "Like if you could ever,"

The maids had Nerium all prettied up and ready for the ball, while Onise was in a formal but comfortable suit. "You look nice, Neo" Onise complimented, "Thanks, not to shabby yourself," Nerium replied back. The carriage was waiting outside for her, and Onise riding on a black, dull horse. As Nerium went inside, she wondered, 'Hopefully it's not gonna be to bad..' She fell asleep from the ride after a few hours. Along with her younger brother who looked up into the sky, his face full of wonder, and worries.
