As Nerium was drifting to sleep, she remembered the first time she'd seen Onise. It was in spring, Onise was the gardener's son, "Careful Princess Nerium! That's poison ivy!" Nerium sighed while stepping away, "Don't call me that's, it's way too long and formal, I want you to be my friend, not my guardian or professor,"
Onise: "How about Neo?"
Nerium: "Sounds about right, what's your name?"
As she hung upside down, from a branch,
Onise: "Onise,"
Onise: "Your royalty though, and I'm a commoner... isn't that like stasis borders?"
Nerium: "Who cares, what's so bad about that? We're all people in the end,"
Onise: "Good point, anyways why are you out here? Isn't this the time you should be asleep by now?"
Nerium: "The moons full tonight and reddish, I couldn't miss it,"
Onise: "Let me show you something,"
He had lead her to a herbalist room, and pointed to a plant, which was slowly growing, its petals matching the starry night, and the bottom of the petals as red as the moon. The leaves were dark, like as to show off the main flower, Nerium's red eyes shone, glittering in awe of the plant. He handed her a seed, and murmured, "You can have the seed, and grow it somewhere if you like..." She nodded smiling, "What's this plant name?"
Onise: "Kelpton, very rare species,"
Onise: "I know this might be off-topic, but my name is Onise, you already know that but my mom named me designer, she thought of me as a designer of my own fate."

Later on as their friendship kept on growing, Onise tried out to be a knight, he did quite spectacular, a natural even.
Nerium: "Looks like you got this in the bag," She nudged him smiling, and he flushed slightly, "I didn't know it would go so well..." He trained well, and was getting better and stronger. Along with better shape, which made all the maids in the castle simp for him for a while. Even Nerium for like a few days, however, got used to it rather quickly. Although, Onise's duties as a knight were important, he never had lost interest in Botany.

She opened her eyes, yawned and uncovered her bedsheets quietly, she observed the moon, a blood moon, she checked her balcony, the plant she had grown since the day Onise had given her all those years ago. "Kelpton..." She peered at the moon, its same red radiant glow, the flowers opened and sparkling like the starry night, the tiny golden sparkles and dark galaxy themed petals. She gazed at the moon, and her eyes matched the gorgeous petals. Maybe even the slightest connection...or just a simple dream.
