In the morning.
"Mahal."
"Hmmm?"
Caressing her navel, she asked, "Anong una mong gagawin pag nakita mo si baby?"
"Iiyak."
Chuckling, "Totoo?"
"Yeah.... Well, I probably will be crying while you're giving birth so maybe I will hug him tightly and shower him with kisses instead."
"Puro dugo pa si baby nun ah. Kakalabas ko lang sa kanya. Remind lang kita, Mr. Valencia."
"Oh! Yeah................ Right! Hmmm, I will look at him, watch him breathe his first air."
Smiling, "I love that, mahal. I'm excited to see our baby."
"I've never asked you, ano prefer mo, mahal? Babae ba o lalake?"
"Kahit ano, basta healthy at kamukha ko." he chuckled. "Bakit? Ako naman nagdala sa kanya ah. Dapat lang kamukha ko sya."
"Okay, mahal."
He looked at her and was surprised to see tears in her cheeks. Worried, "Why are you crying?"
"Wala, mahal. Tears of joy." she sighed and asked him. "Sino sa palagay mo magiging disciplinarian sa atin kay baby?"
He immediately answered. "You!"
"Really?" he nodded. "Why?"
"I see how you discipline Rita. Mas gusto ko din kung ikaw."
"Okay din naman ikaw, mahal. Siyempre dapat may say ka din sa mga desisyon natin kay baby. Ayoko lang iispoil mo sya ha just like what you did with Joyce."
"Joyce is a nice kid."
"I didn't say she's not. She is nice and so sweet when you get to know her better. Kaya lang matabil ang dila pag talagang ayaw nya."
He chuckled. "Well, that's my fault, I guess. I'm sorry."
"You know what, she texted me before our flight here, she asked me to take care of you." he smiled. "Sabi nya ayaw ka na daw nya ulit makita umiiyak at nababaliw." she chuckled. "Hindi nya daw kaya makita ang kuya nya na ganun. Gusto ko tuloy ng baby girl. Ang cute cute ni Joyce. Sobra siyang caring sa'yo, mahal."
"Don't tell me siya napaglihian mo. It should be me."
She covered his face with her hand. "Grabe naman, mahal. Ikaw naman ang tatay."
"Of course I am! We made that baby." he knelt in front of her, opened her legs and rubbed his face on her navel. "Are you full my baby Carlson?"
She chuckled. "Mahal, Arsenio na ang name nya."
"Oh why? I thought sinabi mo kay tatay hindi pwede gamitin ang Arsenio kasi baka magtampo naman si dad at si Abuelo."
"Eh kasi, mahal, nagtatampo si tatay diba?"
"Oh yeah, I was not able to talk to them. Nanay kept giving me weird looks."
Laughing hard, "Ikaw kasi eh! Lagot ka, mahal!"
He sighed as he puts his cup of coffee on the table.
"I wish this honeymoon won't end. Sana forever na lang tayong nasa honeymoon stage." she bit her lower lip. "2 years ago, I didn't know that I will meet the love of my life." she smiled and blushed. "I didn't know that, that night, my life will have a different meaning."
"Mahal."
"Yeah?"
"Tell me your vow."
"My wedding vow?" he stood up as he waited for her response.
