"HEY, EVVY, YOU OKAY? You look like you saw a ghost," a girl mumbled. Blaire couldn't make out who she was, the world was blurry and she barely heard her. "Evvy? Evvy, you hear with me? What the hell happened here?"

Blaire stared off into space, jumping when she shook her. Her eyes adjusted to her surroundings, and she saw Lucy in front of her, looking extremely worried.

"Lovie," Blaire whispered faintly, still very shaken up from what had happened with Ruth. "Thanks for coming to help."

"Anytime," Lucy hummed, wrapping her arms around Blaire. Blaire was almost limp, barely keeping herself up. Just as she said that, Rosette and Abbie came running to them in the foyer.

"Blairie! Guess what?" Abbie squealed, jumping up and down excitedly.

"What?" Blaire said with as much excitement as she could muster. She was getting a headache and the energy wasn't helping.

"We found a new unicorn movie! Can we watch it? Please, please please!" Rosette squeaked loudly, and Blaire nodded slowly.

"Sure," she muttered. "This is Lucy, she's here to be your friend with me while Ruth is gone. This is Rosette and Abbie."

"Hi!" Lucy squealed, matching the kids' energy.

Rosette looked wide-eyed at Blaire, as if to say how awesome Lucy was, and Blaire smiled. She was still resting her body weight on Lucy, she wasn't sure she could stand up on her own.

"Come on!" Abbie exclaimed, and the two girls ran off to the TV room.

Slowly following, Lucy said, "Are you okay?"

Blaire shook her head, "I'm just a bit shaken up. We can talk about it later."

Lucy didn't look satisfied, but she nodded, and didn't let go of Blaire while they walked over. Abbie and Rosette had already set up the big couch, and they sat huddled under a few blankets.

Lucy grabbed a blanket and said, "You started the movie without us?"

The girls giggled, and Lucy smiled as she sat down, Blaire sitting beside her. Blaire was exhausted. She could barely keep her head up, so she just leaned on Lucy instead. Lucy put the blanket on the two of them and pulled Blaire close. She had missed Lucy, even one day without her felt like torture.

They watched the movie for around 30 minutes, Blaire barely keeping her eyes open as Lucy ran her fingers through her hair.

"Blaire?" Rosette asked, crawling over to them. "I'm hungry."

Blaire nodded, and began to get up while saying, "I'll go make you guys some pizza, okay?"

The two girls nodded, and Lucy went to get up with Blaire. Blaire wobbled as she stood, just barely being caught by Lucy who helped her back up with a questioning scowl. They walked over to the kitchen with the help from Lucy, and she turned to face Blaire.

"What the hell is going on? Why can't you walk?" Lucy immediately questioned, and there was no doubt that she was worried.

"I-" Blaire started, but she broke off, feeling too weak to answer.

She felt her body give way as her legs collapsed, and the world around her turned to dark.
