Chapter Four

She knew that after three days of dodging the question she must tell Gallus. She walked to the medic and asked the pony at the desk before visiting.

   Gallus seemed happy today, which was rare for an injured griffon. They talked for a few moments. Then Gallus asked her something she had not expected. "Do you know anything about this?" he asked, holding up a letter.

   She gulped as she realized what it was. The paper colored pink and the poem she had wrote. "I uh..." Silverstream began.

   Gallus chirped softly. "It was you, wasn't it," he stated. Silverstream blushed and smiled slightly. "I knew it had to be you," he said. "You've been acting weird since I found the letter."

   Silverstream nodded.

   Gallus sat up more and hugged her. "I like you too, Silver."

   Silverstream loved the feeling of the love between her and Gallus. "Once your out of this place Professor Pinkie Pie said she's throwing you a welcome back party, and I'll be there with you."

   "I've always wanted a family, and now I think I've found mine," Gallus whispered. "You.
