Confusing

Chapter 1: The begening

So it all started when I was at work. The guy of my dreams walked in. Soft brown hair ,(don't ask how I know it's soft) hazel eyes and a smile that you would notice from a mile away. Unfortunately he had a girlfriend so I had to settle for the next best thing... A stick of gum, and when I found out that we had no gum I wanted to die, so I had to settle for the next next best thing. Which happened to be a boy named Trevor sandals. (Gayest name ever!). Am I right? Who's with me? If your not I'm gonna come out of this books and strangles you, because in my opinion that name is gay! No offense to all the Trevor's out there in the world. Okay back to the topic....Trevor was a gorgeous brunette, pale, scrawny, short, athletic, and an amazing singer. He was kinda weird so people didn't really hang out with him. I have always had a small crush on him but nothing too major. He and I have always been friends. As a matter of fact best friends. That made this situation awkward. We had sleepover and just hang around. Just what normal best friends do. People are always telling me that we should date, that he likes me but I have never believed it. In most stories the guy asked the girl out. Well, not in this one.
*FLASHBACK*
Trevor and I were having a sleepover, I was extremely nervous because of what I was about to do. We were watching the movie Finding Nemo for the the 1000th time in our lives. I got lost in thought as he continued to watch the movie. All I could think about was the perfect way to ask out my best friend. When the movie ended I offered to play truth or dare. Which just happens to be his favorite game!
Me: Truth or dare?
Trevor: dare
Me: I dare you to lick the dogs paw
Trevor: okay come here sweat pea.
Trevor: truth or dare
Me: dare
Trevor: I dare you to ask me out.
Me: okay. Will you go out on a date with me Trevor?
Trevor: yes!!
UNFLASHBACK:
Okay, so maybe I technically didn't ask him out. In a way he kind of asked me out, but I did the asking. I was so relieved when that dare popped up. Now I didn't have to find a way to ask him. I know it is confusing but try to stay with me. So for our date he took me to longhorn steakhouse. Which was the first bad choice he made with this date because I have told him a million times that I am a vegetarian. Next he asked for a specific waiter named Alex. I didn't think that was a bad thing until I found out that Alex was a girl and she was not ugly. That was Bad choice #2, and what happened next was beyond any terrible thing that I could have imagined... He entered us in a 15 pound steak challenge. The point is if you can finish a 15 pound steak in 1 hour your meal is free. When I found that out I was so mad. I didn't even stay to hear his side of the story. I just got up and left. I didn't talk to him for like two months. And in those two months I met someone. He was amazing he used to be an astronaut 30 years ago. Cool right. Oh, we're you expecting it to be a cute guy. Tall, kind, somewhere around my age. No way! Not at all! You will realize why further into the story.
