I'm so sorry I didn't update sooner, I had gone on vacation this week and totally forgot to write that I wouldn't be able to post.... So here's an even longer chapter 😁
It's been a couple of weeks since I Aizawa Sensei helped that girl. I got to meet her and we hit it off. It's nice being around someone who comes from a similar situation as I do. Last night Aizawa Sensei gave me my new uniform for school. It's quite cute. But my hero costume is cute but simple. He said it should work with the quirks I use most often. Agility, strength, elemental, and a couple other quirks are some I like to use most often. As they help a lot. So my hero suit is like a leotard used in gymnastics but it has built in shorts and the sleeves are long with a hole where each shoulder is. I like it.
But today is the day. I meet class 1A. Aizawa Sensei walked with me from the teachers quarters to outside to class. On our way there I heard some students talking and whispering throughout the halls but I decided to ignore it. Aizawa Sensei said that it'd be best to wait outside until told to come in. While waiting I heard students talking about me as they walked by. When I heard Aizawa Sensei's signal for me to come in I opened the door and walked into the classroom.
Looking up I saw all of the students. Each one had their own vibe to them and I liked that. I had braided my hair into one big braid before since I have a lot of hair and it's kinda long. I can see a boy with purple grape like hair staring at me and drooling. 'Weirdo.' I judge him in my head but decide not to say anything. I stay standing still for a few seconds before I introduce myself.
"Hello I'm Ace. I'll be your new classmate for the remainder of the years at this school. I hope you will all accept me." I give them a soft smile. Suddenly everyone starts speaking and asking me questions. I looked at Aizawa Sensei for help.
"Ask her questions one at a time please." Aizawa Sensei ordered. At that they all calmed down with their questions and went silent. Then some of them raised their hands.
"Ah... you." I point to a boy with yellow hair that stands up like lightening and has a black lightning bolt in it too.
"Aren't you the girl who's like... the villain who put All Might into retirement. Aren't you that villains' daughter?" The boy asks and the question catches me off guard. I bite my lip and look down so afraid of how they are judging me and what they are thinking or might say. But then a voice speaks up from the right side of the class. I recognize it instantly and look up.
"Who cares if she's the daughter of some villain. She obviously didn't know he was one and even so if she was a threat or something bad the teachers wouldn't let her in here with us you idiot." Bakugo stood up for me! The rest of the class seems so shocked that Bakugo stood up for me.
"Th-Thank you, Bakugo." I turn my body his way and bow down for a second before rising.
All he does is make a 'Tch noise and then the others go back to asking questions. A boy with broccoli green hair raises his hand and I gesture to him that he can ask.
"Um if you don't mind me asking... what is your quirk? And how does it work?" The boy asks me I can see that his eyes are the same color as his hair. Sensing the class they all seem eager to know.
"Ah, well... I can copy any quirk. So by touching someone I copy their quirk and can enhance it to its full ability. No matter the quirk I can use it. I'm also able to use several at a time, with more training of course." I answer with a soft but uneasy smile. The boy seems to be jotting down what I've said in his notes. But I decided to read his mind without letting anyone know.
Reading his mind I can hear his inner thoughts. This boy... he's the one my father told me about. All Mights successor and the user of the quirk One For All. My eyes widen slightly but I regain my composure swiftly so no one notices. I look at a girl who has pink skin and a darker shade of pink hair. With two cute pale yellow-ish horns. I look at her awaiting her question.
"You only gave us one name earlier. What about a last name?" She asks with curiosity and sparkle in her eyes.
"I don't know. I don't even know what my father's nor my mother's name is. So technically. I don't have a last name." I say with a smile trying to show that I'm ok with not having a last name but the students seem to be sad and feel pity for me. "But don't worry. I'm perfectly fine with not having a last name. In fact I think it's better this way." I reassure everyone with my hands raised in a defensive position.
After answering all of their questions I'm given a seat in the back of the class. After the bell rings signaling it's time for lunch the whole class comes up to me. First to speak is a girl with a black hair in a high ponytail.
"I'm Momo Yayorozu. It's nice to have you in our class Ace." Momo introduces herself.
After that each student takes their turn introducing themselves to me. I try my best to remember each of their names but it's kinda hard too. They lead me to the lunch room where I sit with Bakugo's group. They start asking me more questions. It overwhelms me a little bit. Not to my knowledge though, a certain pomeranian caught on.
"Can you extra's shut up? You're annoying." Bakugo snaps at the others.
"Come on Bakubro. We're just curious. Plus you have to at least be a little curious right?" Kirishima puts his arm around Bakugo's shoulder. Bakugo says something under his breath but I couldn't hear what it was.
"Well I'm gonna head to the bathroom for now." I give a small but weak smile and stand up, walking away.
After using the bathroom on my way back I notice Bakugo standing outside the door against the wall. As if he was waiting for me.
"Oh, hello Bakugo." I greet him.
"Tch. Come with me extra." He starts walking off before I can say anything. I just stand there frozen and confused.
"Are you coming?" He stops and looks over his shoulder at me.
"I-I um... why do I need to come with you?"
"AllMight wants to talk with you. So are you coming or not, extra?"
"I dunno about this...maybe I should just head to class....ack!" With my eyes closed, I try to walk away and back up but then I feel hands around my waist and then I'm hoisted into the air. When I look I see someone's back.... "You picked me up?!" I start flaring my arms and legs trying to get him to let me go.
"Stop moving so much you bitch, you're small enough as it is." Bakugo holds onto me tighter.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" I yell at him.
"It means you're so small that I almost dropped you, idiot!" He retorts back.
A 'hmph' is all that's heard from me the rest of the time. I could've sworn I saw him smirk. But we soon were there and I felt myself get thrown onto a couch.
"Young Bakugo, please try to not be so rough with her. She's a guest after all." All Might softly reprimands Bakugo.
"Kacchan, you shouldn't be so mean to her." I hear a familiar voice. I look up to see the boy named Izuku Midoriya, or called Deku by the others.
"Deku shut up. You should have no say in this!" Bakugo snapped.
"Hello, Ace, I'm glad to see you again." All Might greets me interrupting the other two's bickering.
