(Bakugo POV)

Recently I've been feeling weird when I see Ace. It's so weird. I can't explain it...

While walking back to the dorms I hear some of the students from general studies making remarks about our class. Before I can say anything though someone else beats me to it.

"Hey didiots! Watch what you say!" I look back and see that it was Ace who yelled at them. Her violet hair up in a high ponytail with its pretty curls and her bangs showing. Her silver-ish eyes have anger in them. I snap out of my trance when I hear the general studies students speak back to her.

"Oh and you're telling us to shut up? That boy got caught by the villains and that led All Might to his retirement." The boy sneers.

"So what?! If anyone is to blame it's me! I'm the daughter of All For One so why don't you blame me, huh?! All Might is in retirement because of my father so blame me you idiots!" Ace yells back.

I didn't expect her to yell who her father was just like that. It's a sensitive topic even in our class yet she just...

"Also this didiot here saved me from him so get over your crap and be grateful that y'all don't have to deal with HALF of what class 1A has dealt with! It's not their faults that any of that happened to them and you can't change the past of what happened so be grateful for your freaking future!" Ace continued. I felt a warm sensation in my heart and it started to beat faster. What is this...?

I was so spaced out I didn't hear the rest of what was said but when I snap out of it I saw Ace waving her hand in front of my face trying to get my attention. She's shorter than me she looks to be about 5,2.

"Hello...? Bakugo?" Ace asks still trying to get my attention.

"W-What are you doing so close?! Get away you extra!" I push her back. She stumbles back and falls onto her butt. Something in my chest hurts when I do this. It hurts for some reason but I wasn't the one who got pushed.

"Ow...what the hell?!" She yells at me.

"I didn't need your help back there." I state as I look away.

She jumps up and scoffs. "Well you shouldn't just let them say crap. It wasn't yours nor anyone else's fault what happened then."

"So what? Not like they care! All they know is that we caused them trouble on several accounts." I roll my eyes.

"Then, SHOW them, that you're trying to do better. Like you did when you helped me...." Ace walks off and continues her way back to the dorms.

When I helped her? What does that even mean?! Is she meaning when I pulled her away and got her away from Shigaraki that day?! My thoughts go wild trying to decipher her words.

(Ace POV later)

"The school festival is one month away. We don't have much time, we should start making decisions right now." Iida states.

I don't pay attention to much of what they're saying. Jiro starts explaining stuff about instruments but I just look out the window until I hear drums. I look over and see Bakugo playing the drums.

"Well?" Bakugo asks.

My eyes light up and I feel my cheeks heat up a little bit. Everyone seems to love it. I notice his eyes drift to me for a second and a small smirk on his face but it quickly disappears when everyone start complimenting him.
