Okay so county, right? I'm not trying to brag but I did pretty freakin good! Coach said I beat my personal time by seconds! And seconds in swim team is more like minutes, just one second can make a difference.

Annnndddd. . .

I went to go see The Gallows-- biggest mistake of my life. Literally the whole movie I was looking down at my popcorn bowl while mumbling "I hate this movie, I hate this movie, I hate this movie!" Or, sometimes, "This is the worst movie ever. Ever". And that's the weird thing-- I love horror movies! But every time I go and see one I always think, "nah, this won't be as bad as the last time," only for it to end up being worse than the last time. Yeah it's weird. . .

But now! The book!

*•*•*•*•*•
The risk I took
was calculated,
but man,
am I bad at math.

"IT WAS A SIX YOU DUMBO!!"

"NO IT WASN'T! WHAT HAPPENED?! I THOUGHT WE WERE A TEAM YOU BOOTYBUTT!!"

"NO!! WE WERE--" Greyson stopped mid sentence and looked at me strangely.

"Did you just call me a. . . Booty. . . Butt?"

"Yes I did, good to know you can hear," I replied back sassily.

"I give up!" He shouted as he sprung up from his seat. "I hate this game," he glared at me.

"Sit down," Matt yanked him back down into his seat. "And stop shouting," he grumbled.

"Oh you want me to start again?" Greyson challenged, "Cause I'll start again," he threatened. "I will start again,"
He repeated.

"This is why we don't play cards," Alpha mumbled. You know I never actually got his name.

"Um, Alpha? This is really embarrassing," I started as a blush found its way to my cheeks, "But uh, what's your name?" I muttered to him. I knew every persons name in this room except the one who was my personal favorite.

"Maximiliano,"

"Maximil-what a what?" I repeated, my face scrunched up in confusion.

"Maximiliano,"

"Mmm hmm. Maxi."

"No, Maximiliano," he corrected.

"Yeah I know. Maxi." I said in a 'duh' tone.

"What? No, it's Maximiliano," he emphasized.

"That's what I'm saying,"

"No?" He said but sounded unsure of himself.

"Yes?" I copied in the same voice as he did.

We just stared at each other for a long, long time after that. His name was just to long for me to say in a sentence so I gave him a nickname; Maxi.
