The Mark

When the four sweet children and Coopy came back from their walk which took them half an hour they all went back to the Cabin to get some rest but when they walked in they where all pleased to see Linda, she was at the sink attempting to wash a plate however one of her hands was clutching onto her right sleeve while she was trying to clean a plate with one hand, they didn't know what to say to her however no one noticed Manly creeping up behind Linda with an air horn in his claws when he went even closer to Linda he blasted a loud "HONK!" from the horn which made everyone jump especially Linda where the loud honking sound caused her to let go of her sleeve and as she did the sleeve opened, the sleeve looked ripped as if someone just ripped it opened however the children and dog saw a really gruesome sight, there was a large purple mark on the arm where the sleeve was ripped, Manly started to laugh then he ran away Daisy, The Candle Holder, Coopy,  Lilly, and Florine where really devastated by what they saw, Daisy went up to Linda and asked her "Oh dear Linda what happened!?" Linda replied "I'd rather not talk about it dear." Daisy asked "Did the four pears do this to you while you where in the basement with them!?" to which Linda replied "Yes unfortunatly." Daisy in sadness started to say "Oh you poor thing maybe you should take a break!" Linda replied "But if I do that then

 who knows what they'll do next and I was just getting started!" Daisy also replied "We can finish the rest." so the children and dog began finishing the dishes Linda watched in amazement on how the children where getting all those dishes done and then after that they where all in the dish washer Coopy explained "And to think that was just the only chore you needed to do, why the four pears where making a fuss over nothing!" so the children, Coopy, and Linda went into the living room where Linda sat on a sofa, Daisy asked Linda "Do you need any ice for that?" to which Linda replied "No thanks dear it will go eventually, and besides this is not the only mark I have." Florine asked in shock "You meen theres more marks on you!?" Linda replied once more "Yes but luckily no one can see them but the other ones are much more bigger than this one, they may hurt but again they are temporary." Lilly said angrily "Those four pears will regret hurting Linda like that!" The Candle Holder told Lilly "You're not gonna attack them are you!?" to which Lilly replied "Yes I will they can't just do that and get away with it!" The Candle Holder told his little sister "They might hurt you more than you hurt them, and besides it's not necessary at the moment." so all the children decided to sleep besides Linda, Florine asked her aunt "It wouldn't hurt you if I slept on your lap will it?" Linda replied "It wouldn't." however for Linda's safety Florine placed a pillow on her lap and Daisy placed her on it and then they all went to sleep.
