By the end of the night, Chloe had successfully reconnected with their informants, Marinette had finished sketching out and measuring the needed outfits, and Nathaniel had made a notice to the school website, which simply stated, "The weeds in our garden are foolish if they believe they are safe." Short but effective, as Nathaniel typically strived for.

"Alright guys, I don't know about you but I'm about two seconds from falling asleep on my desk, and I can't risk making a single mistake the day of our debut, so I'm heading to bed, join me or not, I don't care." And with that, Marinette unceremoniously flung herself onto her chaise, snoring as sleep overtook her.

"Well, I think Mari has the right idea, yeah Nath?" Chloe said, suppressing a giggle at the sight of her best friend flopped on the lounge.

"Yeah Chlo, sounds good." Nathaniel said with a smile as he stifled a yawn and climbed onto Marinette's bed, scooting over and patting beside him. Chloe joined him not a moment later, and all three friends fell asleep, nostalgia at the situation leaving them with smiles on their faces as they drifted off.

The next morning, Marinette awoke to the sound of a bang, and reacting on instinct, she stood and assumed a battle stance. That was, until, she heard laughter from her left, and saw her two friends, one with his limbs wrapped up in blankets seemingly struggling to get up, and the other bent over with her hands on her knees, cackling at the apparent hilarity in front of her.

"Oh my god Mari you should have seen it!" Chloe wheezed out as she looked over to the bluenette, before another wave of laughter seemed to knock her off balance.

"Mari, why do you look like that!?" Was all marinette heard from her friend before she fully awoke, realizing there was no real danger, and stopping her defensive stance with a chuckle.

"Sorry, habit, not my fault I woke up to a bang" she defended, as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and Nathaniel seemed to have finally untangled himself from the mess he found himself in.

"Yeah that would be my fault. Sorry! Chloes a kicker." That comment earned a smack from Chloe but was quickly disregarded as Chloe seemed to have realized marinette was fully awake and could help with the plan once more.

"Alright guys, we have some work that still needs to be done, but at this rate, come Monday, the primaries will be out for blood!" The grins that preceded that statement could strike fear into the hearts of many, and the thought made Chloe giggle.
