The Start

Marinette was staring at the floor, where laid her newest sketchbook, was in tatters on the ground, normally this wouldn't be much of a problem, but that was given to her by Jagged, for his newest tour, and it meant a lot to her, she was trying to hold out so that she could let the weeds grow as long as possible, but this was just too much now, she noticed that a few people in the room were looking over in a suspended state, almost as if they expected her to start crying. But on the contrary, she wouldn't let a tear pass her eyes, because this was where she finally broke.
So with that, she looked over to Chloe, a knowing look immediately crossing over the blonde's features, in that split second you could see a shift in the girl's demeanor, appearing much more composed, and quietly began texting in a group chat to inform nathaniel of what was finally coming to fruition.
Marinette found herself stepping back, looking over to her childhood friend Nino, and a flurry of emotions passed over his face first, shock, then confliction (most likely because he was currently holding hands with his girlfriend Alya, and he must have known that soon their relationship would have to end.), and finally accepting what was inevitable. He nodded at her, slipping on a blue bracelet in a pocket of his bag he was slightly dreading ever opening again, and unclasping his hand from the brunette next to him. "Babe, what's wrong?" Alya asked, momentarily distracted from the scene in front of her. "I can't be with you anymore Alya, you aren't the girl I fell in love with." as Alya gasped, Nino took a seat next to Mari's things as Marinette also went to sit back down. With that, you could hear murmurs coming from the class, most specifically the ones who knew of the primary days. Soon, the whole class was in disarray, with many students pulling jewelry out of nowhere, and moving from one side of the room to the other. The seating chart was as follows-
Adrien lila ~~ Alix kim sabrina

Meylene ivan~~~~ chloe nath

Some minutes later, Mrs bustier walked in and immediately went to look at Marinette, ready to blame her for whatever had occurred, but Marinette stopped her before she could even speak. "No, Mme. Bustier, I'm not going to let you blame this on me, we were having problems in seating and we fixed it ourselves, that's what you always want us to do right? Solve your problems for you?" at that bustier turned slightly red, "Marinette that was highly inn-" she started, only to be interrupted by the bluenette once again "no, Mme. It isn't, you always want us to be honest, that's exactly what I'm doing." bustier sighed, "very well mrs dupain-cheng, but don't expect me to forget this easily". Not more than two seconds later, you could hear faint crying in the back of the room, and Marinette almost scoffed at how fake they sounded. Actor my ass she thought mirthfully. How could people fall for something so blatantly fake? But either way, Mrs. Bustier was quick to defend Lila. "Oh liula, what's wrong? Did you and Marinette have yet another altercation?" she completed, disdain clearly dripping from her voice. Marinette could practically hear the smirk in what the girl said next, barely concealed by her so-called tears. "M-m-Marinette, she, she-" Then Lila just sobbed louder, clearly not sure what to say next, as Marinette hadn't truly done anything. Marinette nearly laughed at the vagueness of the statement, but clearly, Caline was all too convinced. "Marinette we talked about this, you need to stop bullying Lila, I might need to take you off of class representative duty." Marinette chuckled, she really just made it that much easier for her to resign. "Oh there's no need miss, I have a feeling I'm going to be quite busy in a few days, so really I should just let you know now that I'm going to have to resign from my position, I wish you the best of luck in finding someone who's as willing as I was to do your job for you". At that, the last bell rang, and Marinette walked out, Nathaniel and Chloe in tow. "So, what's the plan Mari?" Chloe asked as soon as they left the school. Marinette looked over to the blonde, "It's been too long since you've called me that chlo," Marinette began as she looked over to Nathaniel. "first things first, Nath, I trust you still have access to the school news site?" Nathaniel looked back at the girl with a smirk,"of course." Marinette linked arms with the two walking with her, "we have the weekend to do this, ill do clothes, nath you already know what you need to do, and Chloe, make sure that all of our connections are up to date." the trio then arrived at the bakery, walking up the steps, and getting to work.
