Rarity watched in horror as her best friend sat there in her cell, rocking back and forth. The farm pony had a mad look in her eye, as she continued mumbling, "I ain't crazy, I ain't crazy." The beautiful unicorn shook her head, turning to the doctor whom had seen her friend earlier, tears in her eyes. "Please, you simply cannot do this! She-she's the only real friend I have left!"
The dress pony began to sob. "Sure Applejack can be messy, and gross and unkempt, but she's also honest, loyal, a-and..." Rarity burst into tears once again. "And the best friend any pony could ever ask for!" The psychologist looked at the mare sadly. "I'm very sorry about this, Miss Rarity. But we can't let Applejack out of the solitary confinement until she has shown at least a slight sign of sanity."
He gazed at the farm pony. "She nearly killed a pony, she was scared out of her mind, sure- but even if she is a protecter of Equestria, she's too unstable to be let out now." Rarity nodded as graciously as she could. "I-I'll just be going t-then.." With that, she left. She didn't know where she was going, perhaps shopping? To a spa? That would certainly help, but...
Eventually, she found herself at the Pizzeria. The dress pony glanced up at the building. She hadn't even realized she had gone there. Knowing that she had nothing else to do, she trotted inside. The lights were on, multi-colored and brightly shining onto the main stage, where Flutters, Twilight and Pinkie all stood, motionless.
Towards the back of the party room, purple curtains pulled away to reveal Rainbow Dash, hook held out, as if ready to begin a sea shanty. Rarity took it all in. It was just her. Four of her friends were dead, only resurrected by animatronic suits, and one had lost it.
Aside from Spike, AJ was the only one she had left. And now, as she looked at the Pizzeria where her best friend had gone insane, she realized that the probability of Applejack gaining back her sanity was slim.
Rarity was truly alone.
A/N: Apologies for the short chap, I figured I had to update something. So yeah, AJ's lost it! Yay for that! (Not really) I'll try to update longer chapters in the future, but I can make no promises. Sorry, my bats. Anyways, Bye!
