In the evening Shanvi said to Anvi, "Come on, let's go out to eat something to celebrate your becoming a K-drama actress."
Anvi beamed with joy and replied, "That's a great idea, Shanvi!"
Anvi continued, "Okay, let's go, and today's party is on me."
"Yay! Let's get ready then," Shanvi said excitedly.
Anvi agreed, "Okay..."
The both of them quickly got dressed and were ready to head out. They left their apartment and flagged down a taxi. Shanvi gave the driver the address of their favorite Korean restaurant, and they were soon on their way.
As the taxi sped through the bustling streets, Anvi and Shanvi chatted animatedly about Anvi's new role. The city lights blurred into a vibrant tapestry, reflecting the excitement in Anvi's eyes. She had worked so hard for this moment, and now it was finally happening.
After a short drive, they arrived at the restaurant. They got out of the taxi and entered the cozy little eatery. The aroma of Korean cuisine filled the air, making their mouths water in anticipation. Finding a nice corner table, they sat down and started looking at the menu.
"Order whatever you want to eat," Anvi told Shanvi, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Shanvi felt a surge of happiness. They both ordered their favorite dishes: kimchi, ramen, japchae, kimbap, kimchi stew, and tteokbokki. The food arrived, and they started eating with great enthusiasm. Each bite was a celebration, a taste of their shared dreams and hard-earned success.
While enjoying their meal, Shanvi asked Anvi, "So, who will be your co-star in the drama?"
Anvi shrugged and said, "How would I know who it will be? But I am very excited to find out!" They both laughed, imagining the possibilities. Anvi couldn't help but wonder who her co-star would be. Would it be someone famous, or a rising star like herself? The anticipation added to the thrill of her new journey.
After finishing their delicious meal, they decided to get some ice cream from a nearby convenience store. They walked over, picked out their favorite flavors, and paid at the counter. As they were leaving the store, a strange, drunk man bumped into Shanvi, causing her ice cream to fall to the ground.
The man was so intoxicated that he just started walking away without saying a word. Anvi was furious. "Hey, you stupid old man! Are you blind?" she shouted after him.
Shanvi quickly stopped Anvi, saying, "Leave it, Anvi. Let it go. See how drunk he is? He even has a soju bottle in his hand. I don't want him to cause you any harm."
Anvi was not ready to let it go. "How can I let him go like this? Shanvi, he made your ice cream fall and didn't even apologize. Don't be afraid, Shanvi. This stupid old man won't be able to do anything." Anvi's anger was palpable, her protective instincts kicking in. She couldn't stand the thought of someone disrespecting her friend.
The drunk man turned around and said, "You called me, beautiful lady?"
Anvi responded angrily, "Yes, you!"
He staggered towards them and asked, "What happened, beautiful ladies?"
Anvi replied, "You should apologize to my friend because you made her ice cream fall."
The drunk man started laughing and said, "I should apologize to your friend? My foot! Instead of apologizing, if I make your friend drink too, it would be very good."
As he reached out his hand towards Shanvi, Anvi grabbed his hand and twisted it. The bottle fell from his grasp, and he screamed in pain. Anvi pushed him away, her martial arts training evident in her swift and precise movements.
