Shy Confessions

"All leaguers, head to Zatara coordinates, Superman and Dragon Fist I need you at the tower keep an eye on the situation this shouldn't take us long," Batman says as he zetas away with the rest. Superman turns to Dragon Fist, he always admired her natural beauty, she never wore any lip stick. "Hello earth to Clark," She laughs. He blushed cause he realized he was staring at her. She laughs once she sees his reaction, she liked Clark he was nice and he was super strong so that was what also attracted her to him, but she didn't trust love after her relationship with Gohan's father. It felt like hours at the watch tower with just her and Clark. She was busy thinking bout what her son was doing she felt his Ki was at cadmus which they had told those teenagers not to go to, she was going to scold the mess out of him when the league got back.

 Clark came up behind her, "Hey Kora I wanted to ask you something, you're a parent what's it like you know to raise somebody." He asked, he was curious he always loved children and wanted to her some of his own someday. "Being a parent is the best thing in the world, I don't know what I would do without gohan in my life, your kid is your pride and joy, when Gohan was kid there was nothing I didn't want to do for that kid, even though he's older now he's still my little boy," she stated. Clark smiled this is what he admired about her when she loved someone she showed it with passion. This gave Clark the courage to ask her, "Kora I..um.. wanted to know if.. you um.. wanted to go to dinner," he says with a blush. she smiles, she found it cute how shy he wold get around her. "I would love too," she responds. Clark wasn't a bad person she felt safe around him so she was willing to trust love again. 

The other leaguers got back with Hal Jordan the first human green lantern rushing over to Dragon Fist, "Hey beautiful," he says with a smirk. Kora always smiles some of the male leaguers love to hit on her Hal mostly, she can see out of the corner of eye she could see Batman and Superman glaring daggers at Hal. She found it cute for superman but batman or Bruce was kind of surprise but she kind of liked Bruce he was strong  in his own right but he was a great fighter and he could teach a lot of moves as well. Kora admired that about him. Batman gathered all the leagues to try ad debrief the battle with Wotan but are interrupted by the alarms going off about something at project cadmus. 

"Project cadmus just fell lets head over there. Kora is confused but head there with the league. When they get there they see not just there proteges' but also a young boy that looks to be around 8 or 9 to be with them. Kid flash whisper something to him the boy softly smiles and stands up straight when we see Kora, the boy walks up to superman and shows him the S insignia on his ripped suit. "Is that what I think it is," batman says. Kidflash comes up, "he doesn't like called an "it," super then chimes in, "I'm superman and Dragon fist clone... son. Kora looks at him, he looks just like Clark but has her smile and nose. She beams at him, but she noticed Gohan and walks to him with anger in her face. Gohan looks on in fear, he knows about to come next. "Gohan we specifically gave you, actually all of you orders to not leave the hall and you disobeyed us," she ranted. Before she can continue the young boy from before spoke up, "I um...," he kept he head down and was scratching his neck sheepishly. Kora smiled at the similarities that him and Clark had. She looked around for Clark but didn't find him anywhere. 

She asked Wonderwomen where he went she told him he had a talk with the young boy and the quickly left, that kind of confused her, she thought he would be happy the way he was asking her about how it feels to be a parent to somebody. She was going to talk to him about it later for now she had to talk and bond with her new son. Its been about a week since Kora brought Superboy hoe she gave him a name that she thought felt right, she named him Conner Kent she gave him Clark's last name. She later took Gohan and Conner to the old justice league base of operations. Once they got there they seen the other sidekicks along with three new ones, it looked like a female martian, a girl that looked like Zatara, and a girl with red hair and and really really green eyes. "Dragon Breath and Superboy this is Zatanna, Miss Martian, and Starfire," Robin introduces. Zatanna smirks, Starfire and Miss Martian all blush looking at Gohan. "Nice to meet you guys, welcome to the team," He beams. Aqualad looks on at the team, "Today's the day." Kora was rushing to her date with Clark. 

She finally made it to the restaurant. Clark was looking for her, once he noticed her he blushed when he saw her. "Hi I'm sorry that I'm late come on. They went into the restaurant and ordered there drinks, this was Kora time to ask him about Conner. "So about...Superboy," she starts. Clark frowns. "What about "it" I mean him," he quickly fixes. Now its Kora's turn to frown. "Clark why haven't you talked to him," she asked. "Kora he was made to kill us both, you need to keep Gohan away from him," Clark responds. Kora expression showed that of a little hurt and anger. "Gohan loves his new little brother and Conner loves Gohan," she states. Clark pauses for a second. she gave their clone... son a name. "You named him," he asked shocked. Kora just nods and sips he drink. "Conner...Kent," Clark frown hardened. "You gave him my last name," he questioned. "Kora puts her hand on his, "Clark if you truly want to be with me then your going to have to respect the fact that Conner's gonna be in my life and he's my son... our son," she smiles softly and squeezes his hand. 

Clark sighs, "I'll try my hardest to talk to him," Kora smiles. the rest of their date went smoothly. Clark decided to walk her home. "I truly like you Kora, your beautiful and just a goddess," he smiles at her. Kora smirks and pulls him into a passionate kiss. Clark is as red as a tomato but he regains his composer and kisses back. While this is happening Gohan and Conner are watching it from their window. "Do you think know that he's dating mom that he'll except me," Conner asks. Gohan smiles at his little brother and ruffles his hair, "I have know doubt that he'll except you," he smiles.
