Chapter 1

People often get away from things they don't understand, and gradually they will start to fear them and soon enough harmful emotions will start to spread like a disease until the whole area gets infected.
A village near the kingdom of gold or what they call "Victoria" the first female empress that ruled without the need of an emperor help, villagers and nobles see her as a hero who untied the 5 kingdoms together.
Welp that's what they think and it's incorrect, before you hear the full story I must introduce myself, the name is (Tori) 18 years old and it's a pleasure to meet you all.
Okay to make things easier there is 5 ranks the higher the rank is the stronger the person becomes, but it's better to stick with the 1st or 2nd rank , sure you get disrespected sometimes but it's better than being feared from or being a centre of a rumour.
As for those who are between 4th and 5th ranks I offer my condolences to them , people see them as monsters and fear them, usually they work as assassinates or as shadows, few of them work as knights and I think that there is no need to explain why.
If you wonder about the 3rd rank and what are people's impressions about them ? To make it clear people with third ranking usually get treated like 4rth rand but a little bit better, at least they get treated like humans? As if, whatever way or rank it is because of people's jealousy those poor rankers cannot live a normal life, and guess who made it this way?? WHO OTHER THAN VICTORIA HERSELF!?!?
"Oh the hero would not do something like this" they say "The hero is a rightful person" they say, what kind of bullshit is this? Only those who were "there" know the truth, Victoria is hypocrite and a big one at it.
Few .... let's calm down a little bit, after I give a quick preview about the ranks I think we should start telling you the story, and by WE I mean me and those who know what happened, " where here if you forget a detail....." say a white hair boy a bunny mask on his face , "and also for the food ,Toris pies are the best!" A pink haired girl walks in the room while holding a piece of pumpkin pie on her hand, " Lily put it back! Wei has not come yet, and you promised Tori that you will behave before she baked the pie!" A boy with elf ears and blonde hair says, suddenly a load noise made everyone jump from surprise and a boy with black hair enters the room, " you scared the hell out of us Wei! I already told you to stop fighting with James!" I scolded Wei while trying to fix the door " you know that I can't afford any more broken items in this house!" Hey, I do not get paid to babysit these children!! Whateveeeeeer, "at this rate I won't be able to tell them what happened so stop whatever the heck you're doing and introduce yourselves so we can start" "ohhhh Tori broke the fourth wall " I stare back at James " amm ... sorry ... I'm James, the twin elves over there are Lily and Len and the jerk with the black hair is Wei" "watch your language " I said ,then the masked boy says " and my name is Haru, pleasure to meet you all ^-^" okay then shall we start ?
