"Sure,of course come in"Amelia stepped aside for her the detective settled in a seat in the living room Amelia sitting across her she takes a glance around the room before settling her gaze on her."I am here to discuss your accident that happened a few months ago it seems the evidence of your car crash was tampered with " Amelia's breath caught in her throat "Tampered?who would do that?"."That what were trying to figure out " she said "I understand this is a lot to take but it's important that you try to remember any details from that day no matter how small they may seem".

      Amelia closed her eyes the thought of the shadowy figure coursing through her mind "I remember someone being in my car,I couldn't see their face clearly trying to take control of my car".The detective's eyes widened slightly piqued with interest "That is very important Amelia do you remember anything at all their voice,clothing,anything at all?".

    "No it was all blurry i couldn't remember more I'm sorry"her eyes softened "That okay every detail helps ,we'll keep you informed of any developments" she stood up her eyes reassuring "We'll try to get to the bottom of this,but if you ever remember anything else don't hesitate to contact me ".She shut the door she leaned against the door feeling the weight of the mystery pressed down on her.

  Ethan arrived shortly after his presence brought a sense of comfort to Amelia."How was your day "he said shrugging off his jacket hanging it by the door.Amelia looked up from where she was setting the table a smile on her lips. "Eventful"she said her mind whirling "I made dinner I thought we should talk"his eyes softened his smile reassuring "That sounds perfect".As they sat down to eat Amelia noticed Ethan's subtle movements his brow furrowed slightly as he concentrated on cutting his food ,the way he glanced her with curiosity.As they finished eating Amelia took a deep breathe "Someone came by today she said her name is Detective Michelle"his fork paused in mid-air hovering over the plate."She said something about the evidence of my car accident being tampered with it might not have been an accident after all".

     His eyes darkened and he reached out taking her hand in his "Are you okay?".Amelia nodded feeling a strange sense of fear and determination."I will be I know it's scary but it feels like I getting closer to the truth I know it's scary but it feels like I am getting closer to the truth"he squeezed her hand gently his thumb brushing over her knuckles ."We'll get through this Amelia your not alone"he smiled.

    After dinner they cleaned up the kitchen side by side as they finished they found themselves standing close to each other the space between them filled with a charged silence.Ethan's gaze dropped to her lips.Her heart quicken she could feel his  warm breathe mingling with her's.Slowly he leaned in his eyes searching for any hesitation but as he found none his lips met with hers .

     The kiss was slow an soft an exploration as if they were both afraid to break the fragile moment .Amelia felt warmth through her body she leaned into him her hand resting on his broad chest feeling his steady heartbeat between her fingertips his hands circle around her waist pulling her closer his hands moving around her back wanting to feel every bit of her.she responded his hands running from his neck to his hair as he deepened the kiss.He pulled away their forehead resting on each other. "Lets get through this together"he said through ragged breathes she nodded her lips curving up to a smile "Together".
