Nine jumped down the ladder, beating both Eight and Seven to the door and closing his toolbox as he ran.
"We need to stop Ten from moving the ship!"
Seven gasped for breath behind him, easily falling behind, "How am I supposed to do that?!"
As if answering him, Eight rushed past the both of them, screaming throughout the halls.
"STOP THE SHIP! STOP THE SHIP!"
"That's one way to do it."
"Please, telling Ten won't matter, she'll probably go anyways to teach her how to listen to the leader."
"She wouldn't do that."
"Yes she would."
"No, she's got a heart, there's not a chance she'd leave Six out there, she might be upset when she comes back in, but I don't think she wants to be responsible for the death of somebody."
Seven rolled his eyes, "She wouldn't count that as her responsibility, Six did that on her own."
"Who's side on you on??"
"There is no side, it's just a sphere."
"What?"
"Either way, I like Six more than the rest of you, and she needs to know that."
Seven took a turn down a different hallway, much to Nine's confusion.
"Where's he going?" He murmured, but he kept his own path, Seven was probably going to yell at Six or something.
He stopped.
"WAIT DON'T GO OUT THERE TOO!"
-
Eight ran into the automatic door before it even opened, but he had finally reached the main room. He skidded across the floor and collided with her seat, but that wasn't enough to get her attention for him, and he shook her by the shoulders for good measure, "Ten! Stop the ship! Six is outside!"
Ten, to her credit, didn't flinch or panic, she just calmly removed his hands.
"Please, don't touch me like that." Ten sighed, turning to him, "So Six is out there?"
"Yes! We need to stop!"
Ten shook her head, "No, if we don't move now, we'll all be too close to leave. Nine said 13,000 meters."
She turned back to the controls and started the ship up, reaching for the thrusters when Eight's hands blocked her off.
"He said 13,000 meters give or take a few thousand! Can't we give that few thousand a chance?!"
"No."
"Wait! Stop! Can't we wait a second!? We can't move right now!"
"No we can't wait a second, and yes we can move." Ten tried to reach around him, but Eight only put himself further in between them, "Please move."
"No! Not right now!" Eight yelled, "We can't just leave her out there!"
"We can." Ten seemed to be getting frustrated, her hand being pushed away once again, "You can't get us all killed for one person."
"That person is on your team!" Eight bit back.
"Who is going to die anyways if we all wait for her! Why would I risk that?" Ten finally started to crack her professional demeanor, openly shoving Eight out of the way, "What sense does that make?"
