The heavy wooden door opened, with a small light pouring through the opening. Its hinges of ancient but sturdy metal sounded with a creaking groan. Announcing that someone has entered the sacred space.
Heavy footfalls vibrated through the room. Polished to perfection shoes making a soft; click. Click. Click. On the title floors.
A single candle's golden flame lit the way, illuminating various bookshelves. The titles of old, new, and knowledgeable books and tomes. Were briefly shown before the light moved elegantly away. Like the sun moving its way out of the sky, making way for the moon to replace the bright and brilliant day. To welcome the cool and peacefully calm aura of the night.
The clicking of boot heels continued until they passed the selves and stopped in the center of a dome like room. Every way you would turn, from the right to the left and even from behind. Rows upon rows of shelves lined and decorated the space and beyond. In the center, under the domed ceiling which was made of pure stainless glass. The pale sliver moon being the only main light that lit the room's center. Its heavenly glow overshadowing the small flicking light of the candle's flame.
In front of the person was another wooden door; but this one looked like it had been bathed in magic. And maybe it was. The door was a set of beautifully carved double doors. Its design was intricate, crafted by delicate hands and an insightful eye. With the wooden carved to display the moon and the stars. Along with other beautifully done designs. The full moon carved in the center of the doors, luminating a gorgeous golden glow. Giving a feeling of wonder and warmth from its enchanting glow.
The figure approached the door; and with two gloved hands, grasping both elegantly craved handles. They gently pushed open the doors. The full moon in the center splitting in half.
As the figure stepped into the room. They let go of the handles, journeying a little further in. The doors magically closed behind them.
The mysterious room was a beautifully decorated office.
The room seemed to be bathed in a golden glow. Maybe that was either because of the chamberlains on the walls or the golden flames that were crackling in the elegant fireplace. Bookshelves were placed on either side of the fireplace while above them were beautifully crafted golden birds. Their wings spread open, as if they were going to fly out of the wall that they were trapped in. Two long stands lined the wall across from each other. With books, scrolls, and other items decorating their surfaces. Hanging from the ceiling was a magnificent crystal chandelier. Its gems twinkling in the warm light of the fire. And sitting directly under the chandelier was an elegantly craved wooden table. With luxurious and plush chairs positioned around the table. The table was littered with books, scrolls, and tomes on its surface as well as journals and quill pens.
But despite the grandeur of the wonderous space. The room felt suffocating, especially with the three other presences in the room. Seated at the table in three out of the four chairs that surrounded the table were three men.
From a distance the three men looked somewhat ordinary. But upon further inspection, they were anything but.
Their skin was dark as dark oak wood but reflected adoringly in the light. They all were dressed in royal regalia but had differences in their attire and their looks entirely.
The first man's state of fashion was a black royal jacket that had gold accenting the look. He was wearing a black satin bow tie around his neck. His hair was in dreadlocks and his face had a beard. However, his eyes were a mystery because the upper half of his face was covered by a black hood with gold trimming. Making him look more ominous as the shadow on his face seemed too concealing.
