"i am rather good at convincing others to follow me ren" i responded
"just as you convinced us, when you revealed your power, the almighty fallen" she said, i chuckled
"i unleashed a monster onto my foes as usually do it wasn't as special as i let you believe at the time" i said
"but that just proves you can also be devious when you wish" she said, i gave her that as it was true
"lord and lady yamashiro we have arrived" an officer said
"your dismissed" i said, the officer saluted and left quickly
"it seems we can now begin" she said, i nodded
"indeed, i have much work to do" i said

"you are right, of course, we have much work to do" i said, we walked to the makeshift transporter that had been placed aboard the NHG: erlösung, and transported to the surface of our new home, to be met by general james ironwood

"sir" he said with a salute
"how goes it" i asked
"we have already begun colonization work of the world we will have the three main continents set up for colonization shortly" he said

"speak, general" ren said, he bowed to her before doing so
"sir, you are not politicians neither of you are" the general said

"you are warriors, you will not be happy just sitting and waiting for us to build our nation, the yamashiro-clan already has it's place in our society" the general said
"are you telling us to leave, general" ren asked
"i am telling you to not be tied down to us, we don't need your protection here, so please do not feel obligated to remain" he said, i looked towards him before nodding
"thank you general, we will not leave yet, as i'd like to prepare my own weapons but we will leave soon" i said, he nodded
"very good, sir" he said, as he bowed again and left us
"he's right you know, both of us would get increasingly more bored and by extension more annoyed by how things work here" he said
"i agree, i will gather and train our forces you, put our weapons together" ren said
"agreed, i will see you soon, my wife" i said, she smiled kissing me
"don't keep me waiting, husband, i'll not be pleased" she said
"i wouldn't dare" i said
shinji spent the next several months designing and constructing, his perfect fleet, sending the designs of his ships to those remaining so they may integrate the technology, into their infrastructure
"MY LORD, MY LORD, COME QUICKLY" an officer said
"calm yourself, explain what is going on" i said
"you must come my lord, it is urgent" the woman said, i sighed as i allowed her to pull me along, to sickbay, and i suddenly had a bad feeling
"commander, i'm sorry there is nothing we can do" the Dr. said, as she led me to ren who was laying on a biobed
"ren, what did you do" i asked emotionlessly
"i decided it was a good idea to challenge the dragon emperor to a fight, i lost, i am not as all powerful as i thought i was" she said with a chuckle
"you gave me your word, i would die first" i said. she hmphed
"i believe my exact words were unless i fall in battle, i fell in battle, you'll find another, of that i have no doubt, chin up husband, you still carry my name, i expect you to carry it well" ren said
"you damned fool" i said
"but i am your damned fool" she said, she pulled herself up, to hug her husband
"i'm sorry" she said, i didn't respond instead i pulled her away as i pressed my lips to hers, she slowly kissed me back, as i slowly felt her fall limp in my arms
"prepare a burial for her" i said
"of course sir" the Dr. said, i returned to my office
"computer i am not to be disturbed" i said, there was a confirmation chime
"RHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH" i roared out in frustration
