And finally, Shinji will finally confront his father in a final battle between the Triforce and NERV that determine the future of the whole world.

it has been five years since the final battle of NERV, with shinji rejecting instrumentality, and his subsequent disappearance as a result, but new doors have been opened and with the war against the angels over, it was time to look towards the future, with the knowledge they had gained, it was learned that shinji traversed into alternate dimensions through the dirac sea, this changes everything for NERV and the world, as they try and recover their lost pilot, their world will change irrevocably, for better or for worse
