Patton POV.
"So this is... This is bad." I said to Virgil, as we stared at a completely silent and dazed looking version of Thomas. I usually try to have a good outlook on things, but I'm pretty sure this would have to be considered bad. By all accounts.
"Yup." Virgil spoke softly, clearly trying to control his ever raging anxiety. Which proves itself to be difficult, of course. I put my hand on his shoulder, making sure he was comfortable before pulling him into a hug. "Don't worry, kiddo. We're going to figure this out."
Every side mysteriously went missing this morning. I went back to my old detective days, trying to piece together clues on what might have happened to them. That was hard, after all I was only watson and it seems sherlock isent here to help. But there was one pretty good piece of evidence I found.
A massive town in the middle of Romans room.
I wanted so badly to go inside, find them, take them out. But I can't leave Virgil and Thomas. They both need me right now. Sides can't die, so surley they will come back eventually. In the meantime, I just have to figure out a way to keep my sons safe.
Oh! Movie night! We can watch some movies, make a pillow fort, and bake some cookies... That should keep everyone at ease until the others get home! Just me, Virgil, and Thomas. Me, Virgil, and Thomas...
I'm scared. I can't show it, but I'm scared. When Virgil went away, Thomas couldent feel any anxiety whatsoever. Now, Thomas is lacking his creativity, logic, deceit, and intrusive thoughts. You wouldent think the last two were so bad, until you heard Thomas tell his mother over a phone call that she was wearing the ugliest sweater he's ever seen because he couldent lie, or you watch as not a single positive or negative thought pass behind his eyes whatsoever.
I just need to keep it together. For the kiddos. Keep it together...
Where are they?
