Midnight took a short bathroom break before the tournament of Sports Festival starts. It was the main event of Sports Festival after all. This was the main attraction. Now after this, there won't be anytime when she could leave the field so she has to prepare herself in advance. She abruptly stopped when she heard something.

"Come on niichan! You got to use your cool fire power."

But that wasn't what stopped her. It was the voice of the other boy who stopped her.

"I can't." Boboiboy told Chikoo.

Now that Midnight was curious, she started to eavesdropping on the conversation of the two boys.

"But why not? You were so cool with your fire powers." Midnight was confused. Fire powers?! Were they talking about the same boy, orange hat, cute dimples, quirkless boy - Boboiboy. But Boboiboy has no quirk. "You beat up those thugs so quickly."

Boboiboy chuckled. "Fire is not the only power I have. I've tons of other cool powers." Midnight's eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Boboiboy had multiple quirks? Since when? He never used them once. Heck Recovery Girl said it herself that Boboiboy has no quirk. He was diagnosed quirkless by her. Then how?!

"Then why don't you use it?" Chikoo demanded with a huff. Boboiboy chuckled as he crouched down to his eye level. "I could have swept through the entire Sports Festival if I wanted." Boboiboy admitted. "I could have easily won this Sports Festival as soon as it started." Boboiboy shrugged and Midnight just quietly listened to her student.

She felt quite betrayed and confused. She thought that her class and her students trusted her. Yes, she showed off her body a little but I her heart, she always had a soft spot for her students. For her, as a teacher, they were everything. To think that her own student, whom she liked the most didn't trust her with this information was-

It was saddening. Nonetheless she listened.

"But that wouldn't change anything." She heard his voice, uncharacteristically serious. "At most people would say that my quirk was cool and I was gifted and what not."

Boboiboy sighed. "I thought of using my powers but as soon as I saw what quirkless people go through, even in this prestigious school-" He shook his head. "-it wasn't about me anymore."

He smiled at Chikoo. "I'm here to make a change. It's no longer about powers. It's a fight, a fight to define - What's a hero!"

"But you'll be at a disadvantage." Chikoo complained. Midnight also nodded at the words of the kid. That was true.

"How about you simply watch niichan perform his magic?" He ruffled his hair. "Go on, the match is about to start." And thus, Chikoo went to the stands while Boboiboy went to the arena leaving Midnight alone in the hallway.

As a teacher of the school, her first priority was to inform Nezu about this development. Boboiboy was still a suspect. And after this, most likely he'll be treated as a criminal. If she informs Nezu, he'll most likely remove Boboiboy from the tournament. Yes. That would be the most rational action here. But despite what her brain was saying, her feet were frozen. They didn't move an inch.

Her heart was hammering in her chest. Did she really wanted to remove Boboiboy from the competition? He was a student, just like any other student. He also deserved a chance. He must have practiced for the this event as much as other students?! Does he not deserve a chance to show his hard work?

She bit her lower lip. Boboiboy was a flight risk. They didn't knew anything about him. His presence was dangerous for other students. No one knew what more he hid. What if his quirk gets out of control? What if he hurts other students? What if her motherly instincts were wrong and Boboiboy was actually a criminal?
