Candy land

That Night

In the middle of the night in a town called ebony sweets, Cookie fell.

A tall bubblegum lollipop who was up taking a late night walk, noticed. Xe stride over to Cookie, and pick her up. Xe stretch xyr wings to fly to xyr home in the candy clouds.

As soon as the two were there, the bubblegum lollipop made xyr way to xyr home. Xe took long and steady strides, making xyr way home quickly. Xe opened the door, and went inside, making xyr way to the living room, still holding Cookie. Xe placed Cookie on the couch and walked over to the doorway.

Xe then waited.

When Cookie woke up, she groaned. "Ugh... my head...." She then looked around for a moment before her eyes settled on the bubblegum lollipop. "Who are you?!" She shouted as soon as she saw xem.

The bubblegum lollipop smiled, and chuckled. "I'm Eddi, and I brought you here." Xe said.

Cookie seemed bewildered. "Why?" She asked frantically.

Eddi smiled once more. A more genuine and gentle smile. "Well, I saw you pass out in the middle of town. So I brought you back to my home." Xe said. Xe let out a small, deep chuckle.

Cookie blushed. "Uh... thanks, I guess..." she mumbled. Cookie looked back up. "Wait, you sure you're not going to hurt me in any way, shape or form?" She asks warily.

Eddi frowned at that. "Now why would I want to do that?" Xe asked quietly. Cookie stood, stumbling a little. Eddi quickly rushed over to help stabilize her. "Woah, careful now. Don't want you passing out again." Xe said quickly, half joking. Xe helped Cookie sit back on the couch. "You might want to take a rest, you look pretty worn out," Eddi said.

Cookie nodded slowly. "I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Cookie." She said. Eddi nodded back at her.

"I should go take care of the dishes, you look pretty beat up, so there's a bathroom over there, and I can grab some extra clothes real quick. I'm sure melody won't mind sharing." Eddi said. Xe then left the room, presumably to get the extra clothes.

Cookie just say there, waiting. Eddi came back holding some clothes and two towels. Xe handed the items to Cookie. "Here's everything you'll need. I'll be in the kitchen." xe said.

Cookie simply nodded. She stood up, her legs shaking slightly as she walked over to the bathroom door. "Thanks again, Eddi." she said with a smile. She entered the bathroom.

Cookie finished her shower, and stepped out of the bathroom, wearing a fresh set of clothes. She made her way over to the kitchen door, and opened it. She saw Eddi, and a blow-pop fighting. "Uh..." Cookie mumbled.

The blow-pop looked up, and grumbled. "Great, just great. Another mouth to feed."

A small frown formed on Cookie's face. "I won't be here for too awfully long." she said. "I just need some rest and I'll-" "Like hell you will. People always say that, but overstay their visit. You're probably no different." the blow-pop interrupted.

"Melody...." Eddi mumbled. "Be nice." xe finished.

Melody scoffed. "Ugh, why should I?" she jeered.

Eddi sighed. "You're being an ass, Mel." Xe said, gently flicking Melody on the head.

Melody scowled, walking up to Cookie. "Don't think you can stay for too long." She said scornfully.
