Ch 2

The room was filled with the sound of piercing cries, a tiny human's desperate wails for comfort. Ms Kim, held her baby girl close, rocking her back and forth, trying to soothe her distress. Her face etched with worry and fatigue.

"Shh, baby, it's okay," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Mr. Kim, paced beside them, his brow furrowed in concern. "What's wrong, love? Why won't she calm down?"

Ms. Kim eyes welled up with tears. "I don't know, honey. I've tried everything."

In the corner, seven-year-old Taehyung watched the scene unfold with a mix of emotions. He felt a pang in his chest, a familiar ache he had grown accustomed to. His parents were so worried about the new baby, but where was this concern when he was the one crying out for attention?

Taehyung's eyes narrowed as he gazed at his father, who had never been this invested in his well-being. The memory of countless nights spent alone, begging for his father's presence, flashed through his mind.

Why did the baby get all the attention? Why didn't his parents care about him like this when he was the one who needed them?

Taehyung looks towards them with hatered specially for the baby girl. It's not even been the 24 hours that she came to his house and already getting the attention. "Attention seeker" he mumble to himself but he can't deny the fact that her appearance is worth attention.

He silently make his way towards the dinning table and silently start eating his food.

"Why she is crying so much? Is she hungry? Or in pain?" Mr. Kim asked in worry. "I don't know what happened to her nor she is in pain and nor she is hungry" she replied in destress.

Taehyung finished his breakfast and silently make his way towards his room but before he disappeared his father acknowledge his presence."Taehyung come here" his father called him. He don't want to go to them but he can't say no to him directly right. " Yes father" he asked in a  unbother tone.

"Last night you didn't get a chance to meet your sister but now here she is why don't you greet her" Taehyung gave him his charming silent look nor agreeing or denying.

They placed the crying babygirl in his arms and soon the the babygirls loud wails become hiccups and her crying slowly died down and she become relaxed in his embrace both father and mother become shocked when they see the baby become relaxed in an instant in his embrace.

Little Yn looked towards him with her Bambi eyes. Tae heart again make a flip looking into her dazing eyes. He hurriedly gives her back and run away from there.

"NO! She is not innocent...she...she..is just a attention seeker!!" He was troubling understanding his own emotions because it was the first time someone looked at him with the eyes that is not feeling disgusting for him because he always see how others looked at him with disgust in their eye.

8 months later*

"Baby say mama" Sarah was trying her best that her babygirls first word should be mama. Yn is now 8 months old baby. She was at the age where baby learn their first word. "Oh honey, don't try so hard. Her first word will be dada" Mr. Kim said proudly on which Sarah just rolled her eyes.

They say that little baby is purking her lips like she is going to say her first word they both become attentive and focused on her that what will be her first word and soon crashing sound echo in the hall , Taehyung accidentally dropped a plate.

"Taehyung can't you do anything properly?!" Mr. Kim scold Taehyung in annoyed tone but soon both parents become froze when they hear the little creature babbled her first words.

"ta.....ta" 

9 months later*

"Baby come here towards me" yn just learn how to crawl and Sara was asking her to come towards her but little baby girl crawl towards the boy who was standing little afar drinking water. She crawled towards him , grabbed his pants and slowly standing on her feet's first time while hugging his leg.

Sarah face become stoic. She can't digest the fact that her babygirls first word was tata and now her first stand and for who for her step son. She pulled Yn towards her but little Yn tried to clutch her little fingers more around his pants but Sarah take her with her. But Tae saw something in baby eyes that she don't want to go.
