ITS SAFE TO SAY, JULIET HAS never felt more at peace until now. it seemed as if her entire life was finally finally coming together. her & malachi were friends once more, her dad even started asking how she was, she had found some new friends who were nothing but pure light.
but nothing ever peaceful in her life.
it was a normal tuesday, juliet had been done with school finally and it was now summer break. there was nothing she loved more than summer.
the beaches, the sun, going out to eat with friends, long days and short nights. basically paradise.
"no, we have to go to the beach this week at least" juliet expressed as she stared at the facetime call with nessa, sky and aurora.
"i'm so in." aurora laughed. ever since vanessa's random party, her and oscar had basically been adopted into their friend group which was perfect as they had only just moved to LA around a month prior.
"oh! i forgot to ask, julie did that uh number call you again?" nessa asked, propping her phone up on the table as she rummaged through her draws.
"yeah actually, right after i messaged the group chat. i was annoyed so i picked up and just like, asked who it was but- it just ended" juliet sort of lied, yes the number had called her once she finished messaging the group chat yesterday but the call didn't just end.
suddenly there was a knock on juliet's door.
which doesn't seem unusual to normal functioning families, but it was more than unusual for juliet. usually, even though her and jordan were actually on speaking terms now, he never really bothered her unless they'd bump into one another in the house.
