Ben was enjoying his bachelor lifestyle and had no plans of being held down by anyone.
He leaned back on his couch, phone in hand, and dialed Cam's number. After a few rings, Cam picked up. "There's the doctor. How's everything going?"
"Hey, Cam," Ben replied with a smile evident in his voice. "Things are good here. How about you?"
Cam chuckled. "Can't complain. Life's been busy, you know how it goes. What have you been up to?"
"A little of this and a little of that" Ben chuckled
"Out there being a playboy, huh?" Cam asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Something like that" Ben laughed.
Cam let out a low whistle. "Ben Warren you haven't changed a bit."
Ben leaned back in his chair "Why should I?"
Cam chuckled knowingly. "I get it, you're having fun. But seriously you haven't thought about settling down?"
"Maybe, eventually" Ben replied, a hint of amusement in his voice. "But what's the rush?"
"We aren't getting younger" Cam laughed
"God you sound like my sisters." Ben rolled his eyes, grateful for the familiar banter with Cam. They continued chatting for a while. After they said their goodbyes, Ben sat back on the couch, reflecting on their conversation.
Ben's sisters, Serena and Rosalind, stopped by his apartment one sunny afternoon. As they entered Ben's apartment, Serena greeted him with a hug, "Benji, you look good."
Ben returned her hug warmly, feeling a rush of gratitude for his sisters' visit. "Serena, Rosalind, it's great to have you both here," he said with a smile. "Come on in."
"Wow, Benji, your place is so nice." she exclaimed, taking in the modern decor and panoramic view of the city skyline. "Need a roommate?"
Ben chuckled "Thanks, Ros. But no I'm good"
They settled comfortably on the couches, catching up on each other's lives and sharing stories from their recent adventures.
"So, Benji, how's everything with you?" Serena asked, leaning forward with interest.
Ben took a moment to collect his thoughts. "Things are good, busy as usual with work"
As Ben sat with his sisters, Serena and Rosalind, reminiscing and catching up, the conversation took a playful turn. Serena, always the one to stir up memories, teased Ben gently."Hey, remember Miranda?" she asked with a mischievous grin.
Ben chuckled, caught off guard by the unexpected mention. "Miranda? Wow, that's a name I haven't thought about in a while."
Rosalind joined in, giggling. "Oh come on, Benji. You used to talk about her all the time when we were kids."
Ben shook his head, a faint smile on his face. "Yeah, well, things change. Summer flings and all that."
Serena leaned forward, curiosity sparking in her eyes. "What happened with Miranda, anyway?"
Ben shrugged, feeling a mix of nostalgia and resignation. "Life happened, I guess. We were kids back then."
Rosalind nudged him playfully. "Did you ever see her again after those summers?"
Ben paused, reflecting for a moment. "Yeah, we did reconnect for a bit later on. But you know how it goes."
Serena smirked knowingly. "Sounds like a classic Ben move."
Ben rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Hey, I was young and dumb."
"Doesn't seem like you've gotten much smarter. Benji do you plan on having unfulfilling relationships for the rest of your life?" Serena asked
