A Far Away Place in a Dream

Chapter 1

I took in the scenery with awe as we stepped out of the building, Eri holding the gloved hand of Overhaul and my chain. As we were walking around Eri saw her chance and booked it, practically dragging me along with her. "Slow down, Eri." I said trying to gather her attention, she ignored me and kept running. We came across two young heroes and Eri stopped at them asking for help. The green haired one was looking at us in worry and I could tell the yellow haired one was trying to put on a brave face for us. I stood behind her as she was still clutching my chain. I tilted my head noticing Overhaul around the corner, my collar beeped and he walked closer. "Eri... He's here." I leaned down and mumbled in her ear. She froze and glanced behind us, her eyes widening in fear as he drew closer. 

"Sorry about my daughter, boys, she likes to make a scene." He said behind his mask. "And the one in the collar and chain?" The green haired boy asked. "Why don't we go somewhere more private to talk?" He said in response and all parties started walking toward an alley. "Again boys, I am sorry for my daughters actions, I merely told her that she didn't need another toy and she took that opportunity to throw a fit." "Still haven't told us about this one." The yellow haired one said and pointed at me. "I am a guard dog. My assignment is-" I suddenly dropped to my knees in pain as my collar's safety measure came into play. The boys stared at me in shock. "That's enough." Overhaul hissed out and Eri immediately dropped my chain and ran back to him, he beckoned me closer. "Done with your tantrum? Come let's go home." "Yes, sir." I said dully and stood up shakily "Bye, heroes." We left back to the compound. Me and Eri were thrown into our room and my collar turned on again this time in a harsher shock.

I let out a small scream. "Shut. Up. Do you know you almost got us caught?" He hissed out as I clawed at my collar. "Stop hurting him, please?!" Eri cried out and he glared at her but turned it off nonetheless. I gasped for breath and he turned, left, and slammed the door.

"You came across Overhaul and Eri, the third child is unknown to us but you said they had a collar and chain on right?" Sir Nighteye asked the green haired boy known as Izuku Midoriya or aka Deku. "Yes, sir. Said they were a guard dog and tried to say who their assignment was but dropped to their knees before they could finish. I think the collar was preventing them from saying anything further. They had black hair, purple eyes, and dark purple wings, horns, and a tail like that of a dragon." Sir Nighteye nodded and they started discussing how to get to them.
