A girl ouside the cafe is smiling wildy at me. Tho it was raining hard and a little bit gloomy outside, her face is surprisingly glowing. Her red hair is a mess but she still pulled it out nicely and she still look mesmerizing and gorgeous. I'm not quiet sure if she's a foreigner or she just have a foreign blood in her because of her facial features.
I am seated beside the window, reading a book when she suddenly showed up outside the window.
I can't take my eyes off her. My full attention was glued to this mysterious girl.
She broke our eye contact. I watch her as she enters the cafe and strut down in a relaxed manner with her head up towards my table. The air of confidence is oozing as she stride slowly and steadily while looking straight into my eyes.
"Hi." She said with a beeming smile. She was wearing a see through white long sleeves and a black pants. She was too soaked with the rain that her inner upper garment is slighlty visible. I abruptly swift my stare back at her face. I shouldn't have stared at that part. I hope she didn't saw me glaring at it.
"Ma'am, Avery po?" Hindi ko napansin na lumapit pala ang waitress sa akin. Tumango lang ako habang naka tingin sa misteryosang babae. "Kanina ko pa po kayo tinatawag." Sabay lapag ng mga inorder ko at umalis. Inirapan pa niya ako. Pero kasalanan ko naman.
"Sorry po." Ang sabi ng babae. I think she's aware that she's partially at fault because of diverting my full attention to her. I can't even mutter a 'thank you' to the waitress.
"Can i sit here?" She pointed the chair in front of me.
I force myself to comeback to my senses before i end up doing embarrassing things in front of this girl.
"No." Biglang sumimangot ang mukha niya. I'm trying my best to make my face neutral even though i'm nervous, that happens when i talk to strangers.
"Ang sungit naman."
I fix my glasses before answering.
"Sorry, miss but I don't even know you. Why do you expect that i will share a table with you?" Even though she's pretty, she's still a stranger for me. I will stick to my motto that i will not gonna talk to strangers.
"Oh." She squint her eyes." But you're smiling at me kanina. So, i thought you're inviting me in." She flashed her smile at me. My mistake.
"If i did, smiling to someone doesn't really mean that you're invititng them, right?" Ang sagot ko sabay taas ng kilay.
"You have a point. Maybe you're just bewitched by me?"
"I think you are having a delusional moment here." Sumimangot lang siya.
"Can i have a bite?"
"I just wanna clear things up here. I'm not what you are thinking. I just ran away from home and they're chasing after me."
"Your Princess." She bite her lower lips and i know that she's looking at mine too. I did my best not to flinch."Uy, bakit ka namumula?"
"It's not funny." I can feel the heat on my face. I know na sobrang pula na ng mukha ko dahil maputi ako. It happens when i'm shy and nervous. I hate it because no matter how i treid to hide how i feel inside, i just can't.
