"C'mon, can I open my eyes yet? You know I hate surprisesss!" You whined, fighting the urge to lift up the blindfold that was sitting on your eyes.
"Be patient, stupid."
After what felt like forever, your blindfolds finally got lifted, revealing the bright lights. You looked down at the table to see a cake with 19 candles that were lit with fire.
"Suprise! Isn't it cute?" Owen asked as he watched you stare at the cake.
The cake was a plain vanilla one, covered with white frosting. Since it looked a little too boring, Owen decided to draw a picture of Mr. whiskers on the cake with pipe frosting..
"WAHHHH! It's so cuteeee, but it's kinda scary.. Did you draw that?"
"Of course I did, who else could draw Mr. whiskers better than me?"
You looked at him and laughed awkwardly as you agreed... But in reality, you didn't know that drawing was supposed to be Mr. whiskers. It looked like a cat that took drugs instead.
"Anyway, happy 19th birthday, [Y/N]. You're all grown now.. I think." Hearing that made you feel offended for some reason, you slapped Owen's head and blew out the candles happily.
As Owen helped you cut the cake, your phone on the table wouldn't stop letting out the annoying notification sounds.
You picked up your phone, smiling as you read all the cute birthday wishes your friends have sent you.
