"are you ready for the date babe?" changin asks me as he gets into the driver seat and puts a hand on my thigh.
"hmm, but why are gatekeeping where we are going?" i ask him.
"Y/N i told you, you will get to know babe, be patient" he said.
"okie." i pouted.
today was my was birthday, and changbin, my boyfriend planned a surprise date, and i didn't knew where we were even going.
After about an hour we escaped the noises of the city and came into the beautiful silence of the nature, we were in a field, a flower field of daisies. it felt nice, it felt like heaven, it felt peaceful, it felt like freedom, it felt like independence. i was so happy that i started roaming all over the field, while my hands spread open, i was living the moment, i felt like that all of my burdens, stress, worries, sadness was gone and the only things left were, happiness, peacefulness, satisfaction, clear mind, love.
"how do you like it?" changbin asked me once i came to hold after roaming around the field and hugged him.
"thank you so so so so so much!! binnie, you have no idea how much i am loving this!" i looked up to him without breaking the hug.
"you're welcome, i am glad you like it" he said lovingly and then pulling me into a lovely kiss.
"you have no idea how important you are to me. i love you binnie" i said breaking the kiss to breathe.
"you are more important to me" he giggled.
"whatever" i pouted and rolled my eyes.
we stood there for a while hugging each other, feeling how beautiful this moment is, but then changbin broke the hug.
"i am gonna get a beach towel for us to sit on and bring some snacks too" he said and kissed me on the forehead.
he came back with a beach towel in his hand and some snacks that seemed to be a mixture of store bought and handmade dishes. he handed me the snacks and layed down the beach towel flat on the ground, and i put the snacks on it.
"this is the best date of my life" i said after i laid down on the towel spreading my hands staring at the beautiful clouds.
"thanks." he said and laid down beside me with his hands behind his head to support his head, and stared at the clouds with me.
we took a small nap there, i was the one to woke up after him, he was sitting on the opposite side of me adoring me with love in his eyes. I got up too, and sat on his left side, hugging his arm, and he looked at me sweetly smiling.
we ate some snacks and played around and didn't even notice when day turned into a sunset, we sat holding each other's hands watching the sunset.
changbin stood up, so i followed the action and stood up as well. He kneeled down in front of me and pulled out a small and blue box, held it in front of me and opened it, inside was a beautiful diamond ring with a tulip design.

"will you marry me" he asked me as he looked in my eyes.
"of course i will. oh my god!!! my dreams are coming true" tears of joy welled up in my eyes, i constantly shook my head in complete disbelief.
"mrs. seo, how was the date and the proposal?" he said after sliding the ring up my ring finger, standing up and then kissing my hand.
"i loved every moment of today so much! i loved the proposal very much too!" i said and then kissed him deeply.
"i am glad you liked it, mrs. seo" he broke the kiss after a minute or so and chuckled sweetly.
"don't call me that, we aren't married yet" i shyly hit him on the shouler.
"okay, soon to be mrs. seo... wait until the night comes and i will give you another small gift" he said and smiled.
"c'mon binnie, as if all of this wasn't enough you have planned another surprise for me" i said and shook my head.
"hehe, just wait till the 11:00 p.m and you will now what that gift is" he smiled.
"okay" i said.
"it's already 6:07 p.m. let's take rest in the car and come back at night time to stargaze" he said and started heading towards the car and signaled me to follow him.
time skip: night time.
"wow! look at that constellation. it's orion!" i said to changbin who was laying beside me on the towel from earlier, stargazing with me.
"ooh" he shifted his gaze from the stars to me.
"binnie!! a shooting star!!" i exclaimed.
'please, god make our marriage successful' i wished to the shooting star.
'i wish she always stays with me, and be happy' changbin wished.
"what did you wish for?" i asked him.
"as much as i want to tell you i can't cuz if we tell our wishes to someone else, they won't come true" he smiled at me softly.
"oh...okay" i said softly and smiled at him, our eyes locked.
"oh wait! it's already 11:00 p.m. let me go grab the gift from the car" he stood up and ran to the car, and came back with a long white box.
"what's in it?" i asked, confused.
"open it yourself" he shrugged and gave the box to me.
i opened it to see what was inside, and covered my mouth in shock as inside was a gold chain with a small charm of our couple name written in small cursive letters.
"what was the need for-"
"there wasn't any need, but i got it to show my love for you, i will always love you, Y/N. it's just a small attempt to pay back all of the things you did for me in these 5 years of our relationship." tears welled up in his eyes.
"awww! that's so sweet of you binnie, i will always love you too." i said as i wiped of the tears with my thumbs and kissed him on the forehead.
He put on the chain on me, and after stargazing for some more time, we got into the car to sleep, as i didn't wanna go back to seoul this soon. we cuddled each other. It felt different cuz this was a new start of our relationship, we were now fiances of each other. this was the best birthday of mine.
