Look Here, Playing (방탄소년단)

The moment the group assignments were announced, Teacher Kang stepped forward and addressed the class. "Alright, everyone, listen up. I've divided you into five groups. For the remainder of this class, I want you to meet with your group members, do a bit of practice, and decide on a piece you'd like to perform. I'll hand out a list with the group members, and it's up to you to come up with a group name, choose a song, and select a leader. Once you've made your decisions, hand the list back to me, and then you'll be dismissed. Remember, I'll be keeping an eye on your progress and discussions. You have one week to practice and perfect your chosen piece, which you'll perform next week. Understood?" The class responded with a unanimous nod, and then the room buzzed with movement as everyone set out to find their group members.

Being in the fifth and final group, I scanned the room for my teammates. I spotted Anhee, her hand raised, signalling to her co-members. As I approached, I couldn't help but notice her demeanor shift. Her eyes and body language transformed into a cold, unwelcoming posture, clearly sending the message that my presence was less than appreciated.

The rest of the group trickled in, each showcasing their unique personas as they introduced themselves one by one.

"What a charming setup we have here," one guy commented, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Seems like we've got ourselves a princess."

"My name is Park Jimin, and I'm a tenor singer. A pleasure to meet you all."

Next, a tall, deep-voiced guy stepped forward. "Oh, hi... I'm Kim Taehyung, and I'm a bass singer. Nice to meet you all too."

A well-dressed young man followed. "Hello, I'm Kim Seokjin. Besides singing, I also play the violin. Looking forward to working with you."

A lively presence with a beaming smile introduced himself next. "I'm Jung Hoseok. I play the cello. Great to meet you all!" His enthusiasm was contagious.

"Hi, I'm Kim Namjoon. I play various instruments, but my main one is the saxophone. Nice to meet everyone."

Finally, a shy but confident voice chimed in. "Hi, my name is Jungkook. I play the guitar and I'm a tenor singer. Nice to meet you all."

After everyone had spoken, I took a step forward. "Hello, you might've noticed me earlier. I'm Min Yoongi, and I'm a pianist."

Kim Seokjin burst out, "Bro, who doesn't know you?"

Namjoon nodded, "Exactly. You're kind of a big deal around here."

"But let's not forget about our special member here," Taehyung interjected, gesturing towards Anhee. "The only lady in our group."

Anhee's icy gaze swept over the group as she stood tall, exuding an authoritative air. "Hello, I'm Hwang Anhee. I aspire to be a soprano opera singer. Besides singing, I also paint, dance, and write. It's a pleasure to meet you all." She bowed slightly, maintaining her formal composure.

With introductions complete, the group fell into a momentary silence, absorbing the variety of talents and personalities now intertwined. The task ahead seemed daunting, but also exhilarating, filled with the promise of creativity and collaboration.

"Oh right, weren't you the one earlier that Teacher Kang smiled and complimented?" Jimin says

"Well, he's right, the performance was indeed splendid."

Everyone smiles at her, taking the recognition as she just smiles faintly, bowing her head as she maintains her icy cold bold eyes.

And then came the crucial moment-deciding on our piece and choosing the leader. We all stood there, exchanging wary glances, each of us trying to read the others' thoughts. The silence was thick with anticipation until it was broken by a clear, confident voice. We all turned to see Anhee standing there, her expression determined.
