"I had a lot of fun with you, Hyung. What do you think about writing a song together? Shall we start?" Namjoon said, his eyes lighting up as he turned to me.
"Well, I'm up for it. I could call Hoseok too; I heard he also writes." Namjoon nodded, giving me a broad smile as we headed toward the parking lot. Our conversation flowed easily, and the anticipation of creating something together made the walk seem shorter. On our way, we ran into Seokjin, who had just finished his class.
"Yo! Finally here. You guys ready?" Seokjin greeted us with his usual enthusiasm.
"More than you think," I replied, feeling a surge of excitement.
"Well then, we shall wait for the others," Seokjin said, leaning against a nearby pillar.
We waited, chatting about random things until we saw Jungkook and Taehyung approaching from a distance. Their animated conversation made it clear they were as excited as we were. Not far behind, we saw the silhouettes of Anhee, Hoseok, and Jimin moving towards us.
"Oh, here they are," Jin announced, straightening up.
Anhee's eyes met mine briefly before she shifted her gaze. Hoseok and Jimin were laughing and joking around, their carefree demeanor contrasting sharply with Anhee's usual composed expression.
"Oh, you guys are already here? I forgot we should change our clothes! We were so drenched and happy that we forgot," Jimin said, his face lighting up with realization.
"Ha... as what I expected, tsk tsk..." Namjoon muttered, shaking his head with a fond smile.
Just then, Anhee glanced at me again before turning away to follow a different path.
"Wait, don't tell me you're coming with them too?" Seokjin called out, half-teasing, half-serious.
"Oh, ah. Yeah. Well, this will be quick. I'll just change clothes," she replied, hurrying to catch up with the others.
As soon as Anhee left, everyone started talking about what had happened earlier. After Jimin and Hoseok changed, we all gathered again, sharing stories and laughter.
"Oh, seems like you guys were really drenched earlier. What happened?" Taehyung asked curiosity in his voice.
"Well, except that the dance class was really tiring, it was also pressuring," Hoseok said, a hint of exhaustion in his voice.
"Pressuring? You? You're literally like the best dancer, hyung," Jungkook said, smiling.
"But really though, it was! And we were happy to be hailed as the best performance!" Jimin shouted, his smile broadening as he jokingly boasted. I couldn't help but laugh, feeling a warm sense of camaraderie.
"Really? You and Jimin?" Jin asked, curiosity piqued.
"No," Jimin said, shaking his head.
"Me, Anhee, Hoseok, and his partner," Jimin added.
Trying to hide my surprise, I nodded my head as Namjoon spoke, "Woah, amazing indeed. She's gonna wreck this school in just a week..." Namjoon said, his tone sarcastic yet appreciative.
As we continued to talk about the day's events, Anhee's shadow loomed closer and closer.
"Wow, hailed as the best, huh? Might as well conquer this whole school," Jin said with a playful smirk, his laughter infectious.
"That was amazing, noona!" Jungkook exclaimed, his eyes wide with genuine admiration.
"Oh, in case you're wondering, Jimin and Hoseok told us about it. Well then, it's great knowing we picked the right leader," Namjoon said, his deep voice calm and reassuring. The others nodded in agreement. Just then, Seokjin interrupted with a bright, beaming smile.
