"I think I found a note, ma'am." I am in the Georgia room while Derek yelled from the other room.

Derek is yelling in another room, so I answer, "Wait a minute," as I dash across the room.

When Eiran spoke to me behind me, "You forget me again," I stopped.

Again!

"Sure, join us," Fake smile, I shot him. This, ugh. How can I allow him to accompany us?

"What have you found? A note?" With a breathy voice, I say.

The architecture of the entire house is actually distinct from this room. Like Derek's artwork, this room is replete with the aesthetic mix of black and red.

In addition, Derek's painting has a lot of black, darkness, red flowers, and an enigmatic meaning.

He showed me a note.

This note.

My head was buzzing with unexpected thoughts after reading this note. My eyes bulged out and my jaw fell.

What the hell!

"What is in it?" Eiran asked me.

After a few minutes I spoke up in disbelieve "This i-is suicide note by Riggs".

Eiran questioned me, "What are you thinking?" in a quiet, collected tone.

Right now, we're strolling around Riggs' garden, which is located behind his mansion.

"Nothin'." I respond.

"Explain to me." Eiran again questioned me. As I can tell, he seems quite serious.

After a few minutes of silence I say "Georgia is dead, and it seems like he killed her from his suicide note... But still we have not found Riggs' body so we can't say that Riggs is also dead," I continue after a pause. "I assumed that Riggs would be here, but he isn't there."

"Princess, try not to worry." He's attempting to console me.

Was that all he called me, princess? He has extreme bipolar disorder.

"Yes, you're right. So I—wait, what is this?" I pointed to something and as I directed my index finger in that way, Eiran turned to face that unidentified object as well.

I chased after that unidentified object. Eiran also comes next.

What the hell!

Once I arrived at that unidentified object. My brain simply ceased functioning.

"Is he Riggs?" I ask in a shaky, quiet voice to Eiran. That unidentified object is Riggs's lifeless body, which has blood all over his skull.

"Y—Yes, indeed!" With words that were ashen, Eiran spoke. Riggs is, of course, his friend. Therefore, this is not Eiran's best moment.

I glance up at the structure of the building. In a matter of minutes, he leapt to his death on the third floor.

I feel awful for Riggs.

I give Derek a call; he and the team are still at the mansion.

"Hey Derek, We found Riggs's body behind the mansion, he most likely jumped from the third-floor window."

"What?" Has Riggs passed away?" Derek says in an awe-inspiring voice.

"Indeed."

"Alright, the entire crew and I will be there in a few minutes."

He quickly hangs up the phone.

It's evident to me that he took his own life, possibly due to guilt over Georgia's murder. He hinted that he was a murderer in his suicide letter. Our main victim has passed away. Is the case closed now? Not quite yet. There's a lingering fragrance.

I look up to see Eiran. He's standing behind me, looking quite lost and bewildered. I sense his presence. He is merely gazing at Riggs's motionless form.

I take a step in his direction. In an attempt to comfort him, I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"I get it. He is your friend and I think your presence here is harming yourself so if you want to leave—" he interrupts in a low, breathy voice.

"No, I'm okay," he replies, keeping his eyes fixed on Riggs.

I've never seen him seem this serious before. In a serious mood, he appears incredibly attractive and seductive. Fuck it. I must give this case my full attention rather than Eiran facial sculpture. I just can't stop myself.

He is quite attractive.

Fuck me.

Derek and the colleagues arrived to look into Riggs lifeless body within a minute. We were also joined by the forensic team.

"You are right." He jumped out of the window, Mysha," declared Lanita. She works at the forensic lab. She is a bright woman. I solved a lot of theories with her that require scientific investigation.

I hum in return for her. I have no idea what to say. I'm not sure why, but I feel awful for Eiran after his response. Because he's not in a good place mentally, I want to stay with him.

Why am I not feeling well?
