Eiran Celestino

"Signore, Are you truly interested in working on this assignment?" My assistant said.

"Yes." I answered her back.

"You're picking the Celestino empire above Mysha, according to that. Correct?" She questioned me. I was irritated by her question. I wrinkled my forehead.

"Explain what you mean?" I spoke in a firm and coarse tone.

"Mi dispiace, signor" In a quiet voice, my assistant spoke. She actually caused me to become frustrated.

(Translation: I'm sorry, sir)

To relax myself, I inhaled deeply. I really need to get myself together.

"It's none of your business. You only need to prepare the necessary paperwork for Alessandro's meeting today." I said sourly. At last, I was able to settle down. I tiptoed over to sit. I shut my eyes for a bit.

Choosing the Celestino empire or Mysha is not the point. I haven't decided anything yet. My conscience warns me that this may be last meeting of mine as a CCO of the Celestino empire.

I must focus on this for the time being. I follow my own rule that never leave work undone.

Like the earth requires sunlight to survive, I need mysha to survive.

After giving my decision a lot of thought, I opened my eyes. I haven't made any decisions as of yet. I'm fucked.

"Sir?" My assistant's voice called me and that snapped me out of my turmoil. I lifted my eyebrows to allow her to finish her sentence.

"The time for your meeting with Mr. Alessandro is almost here." She spoke while focusing her attention on some paperwork.

I sighed. I gave a nod. She then departed from the room.

I got up from the chair and entered my office's closet. I examine myself. I had on a well-made suit. My flesh is being brushed by the smooth fabric. I look decent.

I stepped outside my workplace. I took the car from my garage. I get inside the car and turn on the engine.

The address Alessandro gave me for the meeting is causing me some discomfort. There is a remote location for that address. He most likely picked this address because drugs are the topic of the gathering.

The last time Mysha and her team performed a raid at the meeting site was around two years ago. I managed to keep myself hidden from her. That being said, Mysha and I were complete strangers two years ago.

I tighten my grip on the steering wheel as I consider thinking about Mysha. I can feel my knuckles turning white. I was tempted to her at the mere thought of her.

She brightens my gloomy existence. She represents hope. Her scent still lingers, as does the sensation of her soft hair caressing my face and her smooth skin caressing mine rough skin.

I grewled deep into my jaw. I need to concentrate on driving. But it was hard for me to do anything when I thought about her.

Between Mysha and the Celestino empire, how can I decide on just one thing? One is the beam of sunshine that brought hope into my life, and the other is the route to my professional achievement, which will enable me to gain money, power, and fame.

I'm pushing myself into chaos because I have a mental war going on.

After a short while of driving. I arrived at the meeting place. The city is remote from this location. I get out of my vehicle. I look around to make sure everything is in working order.

My gaze suddenly shot to a tall, old building. I moved in its direction. I take out my phone to confirm the address once more. I'm in the proper location.

I entered the building. It's dark inside, and nobody is around. I thought Alessandro would be here to greet me. I gave a long, heavy sigh.

I placed my hands in my pockets and looked over this area. Most likely, it's an abandoned factory from a long time ago.

This sounds like the ideal location for a mafia to torture defenseless victims.

I gave a little chuckle at the thought that Luciano would use this as a covert location to torture someone.

I keep walking in this gloomy area. I'm feeling a little uneasy right now. But this gloomy realm is hellishly appealing to my inner self.

I suddenly feel like there's iron metal on my skull. I remained where I was and didn't even flinch. I gulped down the lump in my throat.

It's a gun.
